hello gamers, On this day,I'm very happy to announce that Heat, T-O and T-SC have merged to form a new alliance, The holy storm company.
The main goal of this move is to end the cold war between GA and DSD and to show people they can still work together forgetting the past and giving up the thought of revenge. we will maintain a neutral relationship in illyriad politics, thus we will not enter into confederations or NAP's The company of stormers will have both ex-GA ,ex-DSD and other players working together to form a new active alliance which will exhibit teamwork, comradery and above all else honor and integrity. we will be actively taking part in tournaments(if one comes)and be a force to reckon with. we are neither GA nor DSD. we are the stormers!! Recruitment: we have decided to give 10-30 seats to players who are outside of T-O, Heat and T-SC who wish to join us. Depending on vacancies, Requirements to join us and The exact number will be provided once the move is completed. The invites will be issued to anyone who is interested to be a part of the stormers. note: we will be strongly neutral, so please dont waste your time by offering us nap or confed. |

please talk to the leadership of your alliance, they are privy to the answer to this. in fact there is an announcement currently pending on the Illytimes that will explain exactly what is going on, i am just waiting on it to be approved, this is the first time i have ever posted on someone else's website through a blog so i am not 100% sure if i have done everything right.

Formed two days ago, already in No.11 in alliance ranking :D congratulations. Is all of T-O, T-SC and HEAT gonna join in, cos they still have an awful lot of member s between them...too many to fit in one alliance. I just checked, and T-SC has 17, T-O has 41 and HEAT has 69, added to the 34 members already in Storm, is there gonna be a storm-two? or are some people remaining in the original alliances. BTW: T-SC, 1054 land T-O, 2061 land HEAT, 4115 land Storm, 3838 land if enough high land players join Storm, it may very well contest with the top alliance in all of illy for land

We are indeed filing Storm with our active players from T-O, Heat and T-SC. This will be 90+ accounts total. I have not yet added up the total population or land but I'd guess around 18 million population and 10,000-12,000 land. Also important to mention the merger has produced a lot of interest from players outside our 3 alliances and we will likely reach 100 rather quickly. Thanks to everyone for their well wishes and interest in our new venture.

Hey, I have a question regarding this:
Can you elaborate on what you mean exactly as "neutral?" In the usual context, "neutral" refers to a position that keeps an entity out of a dispute or conflict. But in the policy above, "neutral" sounds more like you're saying that you're not going to align with with power blocs or alliances in the game. So is it that Storm will positively stay out of conflicts, that it will not align with other alliances and confeds, or both? Or neither? | Or is "neutral" a fancy way of saying Storm will do whatever it pleases, without the hindrance of diplomacy. It might be argued that this is a way to address the weakness of DSD in the recent Newlands war - Heat and T-O players (former) can hit the Elgean powerhouse cities of Shark, if (when) a war reoccurs in the BL. Some very high-ranking members of SIN have recently made remarks in GC on a regular basis about how they're going after Shark after the war is over - if SIN and Storm join forces, might be tough for Shark. |

Not at all, Had I wanted to take on Shark I could have with T-O. Our reasons for merger were to form a power bloc, independent of DSD and GA, to give players a third option. The DSD and GA have been locked in a "cold war" since the end of the great war. Storm is comprised of former players from both. Our hope is to end the old bad feelings. I am many things but those that know me can atest that if I have a problem with an alliance or player, their size or purported strength has little bearing on my willingness to engage them in warfare. What I mean is I wouldn't go to all this trouble to start a war with anyone, I would have well before now.

I wish Holy Storm Company all the best in their new venture. I do not agree with the perception that there is a "cold war" between alliances that were on one side or the other of the previous conflict. I think most people on both sides are willing to let go of a war that started more than two years ago and ended more than 18 months ago. I see Storm as a reflection of that reality. Have fun out there!

Pffff.. there is more current bitterness than a cold war... I never really perceived that there was .. ok, there is 1 or 2 bitternesses from that old war. I am sure of it. lol.... But what I really mean to say is... GOOD LUCK STORM... it was a good move.
