Hey just wondering what peoples thoughts were on building levels having an effect on unit performance. For example what if a cavlery units speed became 10 + .4*paddock level. afterall a level 1 paddock would be unlikely to have the necessary breeding stock to produce the highest quality warhorses or racehorses.

Right now, building level equals speed of production pretty uniformly. There are command skills to unlock for greater unit speed. Of course, there is already a prestige buff for faster caravans, perhaps there could be a prestige buff to speed up other units as well.

I wasn't just thinking of faster units i was more thinking that units could develop according to city develpoment and they get these buffs alongside any other buff, so again in the case of cavlery, all races cavlery units would be slower than they are now and at level 20 paddock cavlery would be slightly faster.
I was also thinking, Barracks marginaly increases city defence by 1% per level
Fletchers increase archers attack by say 0.4%
Blacksmith affects infantry defence and attack by a small amount
Tannery, archer and sperman defence etc
