So, to put it simply, about a couple of weeks ago, my city of 3. Gondor landed on an isolated island, just off kingslands. This island has no name or no region. I'd like to belive that it is the most isolated place in illy, it is far off on the western Bl coast, -954, -2665

I decided to look a little into this island, to see if their was any history in it, how it got to be so isolated, and if it had a name.

So, the first thing i looked at was the nearest faction to me, which was Virten. They are on another island off the coast, but this island is much bigger, has more inhabitants. It is around 66.5 squares east from my island -860/-2683 is the rough area.

The hub closest was Kingsthrone.
Kingsthrone [Virten]
Far from the centre of the Sundering, the damage to this distant island was severe, but not cataclysmic. It became the centre for a movement to rebuild a better world, to reestablish communications, to help refugees, to rebuild an order based on justice and compassion. And eventually the New King, was crowned here. On the edge of the current realm, Virten's royalty rarely even visits now, but the city is still honoured as the birthplace of a new, better world after the horror of the Sundering

Theories have been shown to say that perhaps the island that kingsthrone is on was already separated from the main land mass of the broken lands.

This leads me to believe that my little slice of paradise was already in its position before the sundering, or was attached to the island on which kingsthrone was based. I think personally that this 2 squares have always been alone.

I poked around in lore, but couldn't find anything associated to this island.

I believe that this island had not been discovered by factions, and was untouched until i exod onto it.

Therefore, i have truly discoverd a little slice of paradise.

If anyone has any other theories, or anything to do with this topic, it will be greatly appreciated.

I wonder if i get to name it Wink

As the Illy geographer, I find this question intriguing.  I suggest reviewing the lore of seafaring factions to attempt to determine whether there are any references to it.

Could this be Atlantis?

I will allow her to figure this out. :)

Nice spot by the way!

Global Warming.

Actually looks like it might be an error.  It's not considered part of any region.  Are there any other land not part of a region?

It seems their are odd areas around the BL without reigons in the main land mass, probably due to errors.

I take it you won't be doing much in the way of hunting & harvesting!
