| Is it just me or is there currently not much point upgrading a library to level 20, my library is currently level 10 and is producing research at a much faster rate than I can use on technology and in production of books so I was thinking maybe there could be racial options to utilise this excess research such as humans can spend research to further improve the chances of success in a diplomatic missions, a debriefing of the target town. Elves could perhaps be able to change research into mana or perhaps add a further bonus to spell effects. Dwarves could further improve siege chances or defence of stationary troops (temporary fortifications) and orcs could spend points to recieve a one off attack bonus |

Sorry but as elves im sure they might prefer the siege and defence or attack bonus more than mana.......

My idea wasn't that to further balance the races but to further accentuate their differences. I'm sure that magic will eventually play a more important role, and when this happens players will begin to use up their mana reserves, If bless and curse don't have a cooldown time then with NPC battles mana is going to be used up really fast. Or rather the mana conversion just make the spell effects even stronger ie 5% bless becomes 6%bless. If elves were given the option of siege or attack then it wouldn't really be based on the racial characteristics and all races may as well have all options |

| My library is also level 10 and producing more than enough research so your ideas are interesting. I like the thought that I can gain a private bonus that say an Elf wouldn't, plus it makes choosing a race more interesting. |

There will (always) be more research options being released as time goes by. Having said that, we also have fairly imminent plans for (optionally) sinking Research Points regularly into something rather exciting, and think that Research Points will substantially increase in value. We can, of course, look at other options in the future. |
