Couple of questions: Just started this game and was getting enthousiastic about it (only thing its a little slow for my liking but well happens!) After grinding to somewhat of a city and allmost ready to start building troops i get under attack. No way to defend and cant see who's attacking me? Kinda impossible to start this way. Newbieprotection is to short imo. No way to defend yourself after those few days.

As far as I can tell most people haven't got massive army's yet and are concentrating on building up resources so should be fine for a while at least  Alot of people are sending diplomats but they just give info about your army.Oh and the game speed does pick up a bit when your getting more resources xx

Thx for the reply! Thought the same (people building) but still under attack and must sleep now. Will see tomorrow, there's nothing i can do anywayz. Would be kinda lame if my town is destroyed allready. Strange that you only see `hostiles inbound` and that´s it....

yea if your attacked you should get a message in your inbox :) they can't destroy your town yet, just steal resources :) You should have an invite to the danger alliance now I've been told to tell you :) xx

Just to clarify - if there were hostile units inbound, but when they arrive, you didn't get any message about combat, then these were diplomatic units: probably scouts just checking you out. I don't think anyone has got to thief units (and anyway, if a theft is successful you still get an email about a "shame-faced quartermaster from your warehouse has noticed some resources missing" etc). So, yes - hostile units, but no damage done.
