Normally I dislike these "vote for us" type things because 1) it's cheesy 2) it comes attached to a site that no one visits and 3) it won't make a difference. IndieDB is a large site with a great community, so I was happy to link this one. I have no idea what this means. As you can see, that site has worked with some titles that went on to major success. It's done well for us. But, I appreciate the fact that you do not want to vote. It is self evident that when you vote for the "best song of 2014" you do not include in the list your favorite frank sinatra song, even if it is the best you've ever heard.  Likewise when you vote for the "best game of 2014" you are not supposed to participate with an older game, but you are supposed to vote for games released within that timeframe ... At least this is how I understand it ... Illyriad is still a good game, but simply not a "2014" game ...

Ah, I get you I think. 1) Nah, this is not a "this is the contest for games that were released this year".... Minecraft and others are on there. This is a "which game that is an indie and is a thing this year is your favorite?" contest. 2) I thought you said "No thank you" as in "I do not want to vote for Illyriad."
