Maybe I'm being a bit thick but in addition to the alliance tax collectors, I seem to be getting incoming caravans from the alliance capital carrying gold in small funny amounts. I'm pretty sure my alliance isn't that generous, so I ask is this a bug of sorts? Unless my alliance has a negative tax rate and that seems far fetched.

It is a small bug. I believe the Devs are aware of it already.
