Happy Fourth Birthday Toothless?!!! On May 8, 2010, Toothless? was founded as Illyriad’s first alliance dedicated to the training and developing of new players. It is Illriad’s 11th oldest alliance, and the oldest training alliance. Some of our notable alumni now serve as: leaders in their own alliances; seasoned diplomats known throughout the realm; kings and queens of the marketplace; and fierce and honorable military powerhouses. T?’s organizational processes and structure resemble a traditional university, reflecting our focus on teaching the mechanics of this fascinating world. Our members are guided through an educational process that truly prepares them to be an active and engaged members of their future permanent alliances, from basic city building and protection through learning how to siege and capture abandoned cities. In addition to providing friendly guidance and assistant with resources, our Faculty Members and Deans continue to focus on specific curriculum based on the game aspects that make a well-rounded player, whether it be Trading, Diplomacy, Military and/or Magic. And finally, we work with our Graduate Students to help them find the perfect permanent alliance based of what game activities give them the most enjoyment. It is after all about enhancing the game play experience! Some things have never, and will never, change. We are a temporary alliance, all must graduate when they reach a certain milestone. As the above list shows, we are no one’s feeder alliance, we serve the entire Illyriad community. We are silly, funny, and social in alliance chat… we value the people aspect of the game. We would like to thank the Illyriad community, our developers, and the alliances we share the continent of Elgea with… thank you for your support, encouragement, and friendship. You make this game worth playing! And finally, I would be remiss if I did not mention our T? Lionesses: the alliance founder, Starry, our former Chancellor LadyLuvs, and our current Chancellor Aziza Habibte; as well as our T? Lion, former Chancellor razhbat. These people have given their blood, sweat, and tears to make us who we are. Their dedication, loyalty, and perseverance have served many current and past players. Wow, four years!!! A lot of players have worked very hard to make Toothless the great training alliance over the past four years, congratulations to all those that have contributed (special mention to LadyLuvs). Thank you for taking my dream of protecting and training new players far beyond what I ever imagined. Happy Birthday T?! You will always be my home and have my heart! As former Chancellor, I am very proud of the accomplishments you have made even in times of heartache and loss. Continue your true nature of training great players in Illy and keep the legacy of the original protectors of Illyriad new players alive. Your alliance changed the face of this game by allowing new players to grow. To Aziza, Koda, Aurellious, and all the staff: you all are amazing individuals. It isn't an easy task to run a training alliance like T?. T? was the first of its kind in this game. It has inspired many alliances to be created and follow in its footsteps. Wow, I just noticed this in the forum... I need to be more observant. :P Anyhoo, I'd just like to express what a privilege it is to count myself among those who have attended the wonderfulness that is T?. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about the game, and I've got to say a lot of that knowledge comes from them. Whether it be the right way to build an army or the best way to terraform, T?'s influence has touched me and countless others ever since it's conception. They're one of the best training alliances out there, and any newb lucky enough to choose them is in for a great time.
