Is it possible to retire military units?

I have a sizable number of basic units which I'd like to rid myself of. Though would prefer to not start a war over a simple readjustment.

Additionally is it possible to retire Diplomatic units as well?

Thanks in advance.
J.

Hi Julian,

Yes it is.

Return the soldiers you wish to disband to your unit pool, and then go into the Military Summary / Present screen.  You'll then have the option to disband the units.

The same goes for Diplomatic units; wait for them to come back from a mission and then Diplomatic Summary / Present screen, disband.

You can also retire unwanted commanders this way (although this simply "kills" them; they can still be resurrected if you find you want them back later).

Best wishes,

GM Stormcrow
