Nothing of the sort on my end here Nikon. Maybe a problem with your browser, or maybe just a temporary condition.

It may be that you are right. Then again, you may be wrong.

Several people have mentioned that they have had problems signing in.  I've caught a .exe file trying to download a couple of times, but I thought it was probably related to the IRC chat that I also had open.

I'm facing the same issue here. I was able to login this morning, but when I changed my accounts, I got error below:

Malicious Content Blocked
  • Location: elgea.illyriad.co.uk
  • The requested location contains malicious content, identified as  http://swi1-0.p.link.sophos.com/t/en/Mal/FBScam-A" rel="nofollow - Mal/FBScam-A  and was blocked from downloading.

  • Please do something about this.

We have contacted Sophos for feedback on this; it is an issue related to use of the Facebook "like" button.

Do you get it on the login page or after logging in?

In my case, it is just after logging in. I have no problems at home, where i don't use sophos. But at work sophos is used and the problem persists. I was, however, able to log on at work via facebook.

I am having the same issue with Sophos after I put my credentials in and click Log In.  If I close the tab and reopen and go to elgea.illyriad.co.uk I also receive the error.   I assume it's because illy still shows me as logged in.

Thanks,
WaltDjr

@Rill there should never be any exe downloading with Illy. it's all html/html5.

hope it's just a false positive by Sophos...

I really hope it's a false positive from Sophos.

I'm using AVG, and I'm still confident it should register any drive by downloads, shouldn't it?

The Sophos report is around a hidden Facebook like button that you'd click when you think you are clicking something else, so called "social jacking".

It is a false positive; but may be triggered by how we add the Facebook like button to the herald after rendering, so as to not slow down our page start-up by relying on Facebook.

Just get rid of the like button, no one likes fb anymore. ;)
