I wanted to take a moment to express my regret at Kilotov's decision to abandon his account. It has never been my intent to drive anyone to quit the game, especially someone who has enjoyed it for as long as Kilotov has. Illyria has a wonderfully diverse group of gamers who bring a variety of experiences and perspectives to our little sandbox; this makes the game far more enjoyable so losing a longtime member is disheartening. I can appreciate the sadness the many friends he has made during his time here must feel at his decision to leave. 

That being said, in light of the ongoing war his cities were a valuable target and the resources/troops of those cities were used either by him or by a sitter to further the war effort of the Dwarven Lords. If Kilotov was unable or unwilling to continue fighting, rather than abandon an account which is over 3 years old there were 2 primary options:

Please don't go all poetic and sounding as if he was martyr :)  LOL  He would laugh.

He is a good player and worth his digital weight in gold to have him in an alliance.

But just so you know - He was already planning on starting a new character, obviously under a new name to keep out of the constant rubbish always been drawn up... and to my knowledge he has or is going to do just that. Start a new Character!

I believer he is trying to give the game one last try from another perspective before he leaves the game completely since there hasn't been any real development in game mechanics and that has him and most everyone here for a long time - frustrated. 

You will most likely however find him much as you would find Biblo Baggins. In some far off country with not many people, in some small alliance, crafting and growing... and watching :D

 Anyway.. If you read this Kilo - Good Luck and may your new beard grow long and grey(er) :)
