When I logged on today I noticed the NPC icons (and also the icons for elementals and occupying forces) had shrank in size making them more difficult to see. I now have to click on the NPC icons to tell what they are. I don't see (in more ways than one) how this is an improvement or a good idea. Trentonus |

| Yeah, I think the NPCs looked much better as large creatures on the map. The new icons are microscopic on my iPad. |

| It's not so much the size, it's that they look identical to moving units without the arrows. I've become accustomed to the little yellow icons meaning movement. |

I have to agree these assessments. Even without the movement arrows the new icons do not stand out as well in my humble opinion.

My guess is it's an adjustment in anticipation of faction icons...wonder why? Hope that means we'll see the update sooner than soon™. ------------- |

| Would be nice if they'd keep doing change notes instead of sneaking this stuff in under the radar, and making people question whether it was an intentional change or some sort of error. I preferred when they had announcements every few weeks keeping us up to date on updates and stuff, but since April those seem to be few and far between. =\ |

Ever since they dropped the icons I've barely experienced any lag. They could of been the culprits or it could be a coincidence. On a another issue, did everyone notice 'Change is coming' is no longer on the log in page? Maybe they're tweaking things, getting ready... |

I did wonder where all the NPCs had gone! Mystery solved. I think it's something we'll get used to and I'm pretty sure the size could be increased - I think they're just trying to get the background to show up, notice that there's a flag showing NPCs as neutral? So.. *prods devs repeatedly* please, please, please could these be resized slightly larger? Some are okay but others are impossible to see at a glance. I'm all for faster speed but legibility is pretty important too :P

Massive thanks to the devs for this one being sorted, I was so tired of squinting at the computer....so good to have tidy sized bashable NPC's again :D
