Sloter - may I be the first to publicly thank you for the leadership you have shown during this war.

Looking forwards to peace.

Bravo, Sloter. You and VIC have our respect for being a formidable and worthy adversary. I look forward to the peace!

ffs, this is getting ridiculous... weaklings finally running, and this.. weak.. oh so weak..  NONE of the losers of this war has my respect as they are worthy of none, they lost miserably and should thank us for not wiping them out completely just for the fun of it.

All their talk about pride and not surrendering, empty words from people who was clearly undeserving of our interest and notice, now running away after all those times they spoke out..

Cowards and weaklings should be stamped out, not celebrated.. all who post in these threads that were on our side, you will never have any respect from me either...

Namecalling and insults aren't welcome here. Either stop it or the thread gets closed.

Rorgash - I believe Invictusa is still recruiting; if you're of a similar mind set to him perhaps it's a good match - and you can carry on fighting the rest of the world together.....or you could just carry on fighting against each other.

Either way, I hope you find happiness.

Fondest.

I thought Rorgash was on the ok side of roll playing.  He did not call out any specific player.  Just thumped his chest.  Even the most gentile orc is still an orc.

You can't RP when and where you want. Namecalling/use of abusive language/slang shouldn't be allowed under cover of RP.

If there are so many people out there who want to RP, I'm sure DEVs will open or at least consider opening a RP only forum.

I don't think Rorg intended to be hurtful.  I think he intended to funny in a role-playing manner.

However, I think we should all appreciate the difficulty each of the warring alliances has in coming to a peace deal.  These Announcement threads should avoid chest-thumping style of role-playing - just to be respectful of the process and people that brought the deal to a close.

There are other alliances still at war and they should know that they will be accorded respect and humility when they are able to finalize a peace deal, too.

Also, it's probably a good idea to allow some of the wounds of war heal before bragging and chest-thumping from the victorious.  Keep in mind that there will be other conflicts and today's victors might be tomorrow's vanquished.

I think Rorgash would have done well to emphasize the role-play a little better. While I understood the context because I'm familiar with his RP antics, there was nothing in there that indicated roleplay was the goal. The same post could have easily been made outside of roleplay and been considered offensive.

When you roleplay you gotta ask yourself: "Would this sound sane if I said this as myself?" If the answer is yes, you need to embellish a little more.

Precisely my point! Haha, not sure if you're agreeing with me or missing it entirely.

No you miss the point, orks are blood thirsty warmongers, so to rp this role you need to be blood thirsty and warmongering, which rorg does too a tee, one of the few which manage to pull it off aswell.  I cannot so I doff my hat to rorg for his exceptional rp'ing skills.
