Greetings from Wheel of Time alliance: D

This is a little update, a 2013 update, you could say (February is NOT too late!). 

If what you’re looking for is a friendly alliance that will not only aid in you growth and development, stay with you in sickness and in health, but always be there and help you have fun as well; then WoT (Wheel of Time) might just be  the alliance you’re looking for!

Wheel of Time ( http://elgea.illyriad.co.uk/#/Alliance/Alliance/351" rel="nofollow - http://elgea.illyriad.co.uk/#/Alliance/Alliance/351 ) was founded two years ago on 15^th January, 2011, and we have continued to grow, prosper, and have persevered! (All while maintaining our basic goal: to enjoy the game, have fun and compete in tourneys!) We are currently ranked 22 in the Alliances Ranking List.

WoT was originally an alliance of friends from another game, another life, another world...but the alliance has grown to be much more than that over time. We work together, support each other, and get along. While you might feel a little like the new kid if you join, the feeling won't last long -- we LOVE to meet new people and want you to have as much fun as we are having here in Illy. (Also, I should probably warn you…new members get drowned in gifts so upgrade your storage :D )

We don’t force our members to specialize or move, etc. Even if you don’t choose to specialize in Magic, Trading, Diplomacy, Military, or farming, and just go general, there’s no pressure as WoT mostly encourages our members to play the game as it is, a GAME =) To have fun and to enjoy! We love preparing for tournaments (and have tournaments within our alliance as well).  We do not keep too many restrictions but we do like players to be active in AC.

All specialities, races and time-zones are welcome and new members are not required to move closer to the alliance central but they are, of course encouraged to do so - we’re located mainly in the west- Fremorn, The Western Realms, Kumala, and Lan Larosh regions. Of course, we DO have ONE restriction; players must cross our 1000 population limit and be moderately active.  At least active in AC, as in checking in whenever you’re online, since WoT, is like a family. We like to share, get to know each other, and we’re VERY friendly ^_^

We have our own site for members to sign up, where we have there are separate topics and spreadsheets for everything and everybody. Sub categories and grouping depending on information, questions, etc. where we put up any information we gather, tips or advice.

Well, we're mostly peaceful, meaning we try not to start wars (and we have succeeded in that, so far). Diplomacy is always our first step in resolving problems, if there are any.

We kid around, have a lot of fun and we’re pretty active. We’ve got some awesome people in here (especially Ellisande, our Amyrlin, and of course, Manannan, the scary trout master) and are able to bring our “Villagers” up to the levels such as Ashaman/Aes Sedai or even Wielder of the True Source!
