Every time a friend comes or goes, we get that nifty pop-up box that blocks the bottom portion of our chat area, which includes anything we may be typing or reading. This lasts for several seconds, and can quickly become very annoying if you are interrupted while doing something. Why not put that pop-up in the Friend List section instead. YES! It is to the point where I would almost rather have no Friend's List...not quite though. ------------- |

| I just undock the chat boxes and move them up so they are not in the area where the friends thing pops up. I personally would rather have it not pop up (and certainly not there!), but this works as a temporary fix. |

Cant undock on iPad. Alas, the longer this game exists the more iOS is used (other tablet and phone operating systems as well.) Unfortunately, it is difficult and sometimes impossible to do certain things (case in point) and this will be driving players elsewhere more and more as time goes on. I am stuck on the game, this is a nuisance to me, beginners may not think so. I can see how these "glitches" can be deal breakers for the less, erm... obsessive players. | Maybe a way to turn the friend list off completely. Not only stop getting friend requests, but to disable it completely like the chats where when they are off they disapear. |

Turning off is extreme, imnsho. I like the friends function. I like to know when friends are on. It is also helpful knowing when key members of NAP and Confederation alliances are on. Just move the popup. ------------- |

I know, but several people don't like the friend list (is not saying any names). Just the option to turn completely off would be nice. |
