seems using alliance prestige pool in combination with account sitting and siege can quickly build a new player to seven castles, research seems to be the limiting time factor. maybe that is the reason why all these inactive accounts are sitting here so long, the game is waiting for us to use them. maybe this is one of the main functions for account sitting and the alliance prestige pool, a way for newer player to build their accounts quicker. the combinations of the game variables are amazing....thanks devs for putting together such a great game!

Account sitters cannot spend anyone's prestige, even if from the same alliance pool of two persons. Though I am interested in how sieges can make someone's city grow.
Last I checked, they tend to have the opposite effect...

Sieging a large city can provide a large population bump to a small account, even though the city is much smaller when it's captured.  There aren't that many large cities just sitting out there for the taking though, in spite of the constant (largely unmerited) complaints about inactive accounts.

It is unclear to me how the alliance prestige pool would speed the process more than say using one's own prestige.

when a new player has one city the alliance pool prestige can speed his building time to increase population, second castle should also be build at this time. third and following castles should be siege castles using a sitter on the inactive account to bring down population quickly. this can be done over and over until the last few population needs slow down the addition of the last few castles...in most alliances the larger accounts share sitting rights with others. this strategy can be used with both inactive and active accounts. with the constant warfare going on you dont really have to raze the enemy castle but allow a newbie in your alliance to take it, or allow them to take your own to enable a move forward to attack other areas...leap frogging military strategy. moving in and out of the alliance is essential part of this method but most of the established alliances are already using this for various reasons. its a great way to get your  alliance membership large enough to enjoy other aspects of the game other than building. the game provides several ways to earn prestige and its also given out freely each day. if prestige is used as an alliance tool and not hoarded by the individual the game play changes completely. experimentation of using accounts as alliance tools is also showing rapid growth of these accounts as well as more interest in active game playing. there is so many ways to enjoy playing this game, so many different variables that experimenting with the combinations of the variables can give players a completely different gaming experience....again great job devs, i cant wait for battle magic!

So you are suggesting that alliances involved in a war would somehow benefit from having a new, inexperienced player capture the city of an experienced alliance mate in a forward operating area that is under threat of siege, reducing the population of the city and eliminating its diplo and military units, as well as resetting research points and mana to 0.

And this is beneficial to both the alliance and the new player who now has a defenseless city under threat of siege?
