ONE THING MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT SEND TWICE FOR A QUEST AS THE SECOND DELIVERY JUST GETS DROPPED IT DOES NOT RETURN!

ALSO REMEMBER 1 CARAVAN CAN ONLY CARRY 200 QUANTITY. SO SOME QUESTS HERE REQUIRE 3-4 CARAVANS.
Caravan numbers ONLY depend on the quantity you need to send not the amount you receive!

Still they can be good:
I will fill in any (?) elements as I do the quests some I skip cause not ready for them yet.

I have grouped them by resulting resource and will continue adding and editing this list asI find new ones.

QUESTS HAVE BEEN REBALANCED SO I WILL FILL IN THE DATA AS I CAN. IF ANYONE DOES A QUEST POST THE DETAILS AND I WILL UPDATE THIS PAGE. THANKS.

Wow, interesting!

So, if I did To be a poleturner and Hold your nose, I could start building at least 23 spears for 550 wood, 250 stone and a couple of beers - without needing comon ground, tanner and spearmaker?

I had no idea the trade quests gave so much!

/me thinks going the brewery/tavern route is money for old rope if you have a market already..

I see a couple that are "not worth doing" but the reward is not known. How do we know its not worth doing if we dont know what you get for it?

Well, seeing as how its just a game and I was curious... ceramic 1 gives you 500 gold.

Posted By: Sarky
Date Posted: 10 Mar 2010 at 22:31
Those were from before the quests were reconfigured not sure if it is still the case or not.  Before on those quests you go back a lot less than you put in.

Still quite frankly there were better quests for gold. 850 resources for 500 gold is not a great return plus the time to create the beer. Still if you urgently need gold then that changes the equation.

Previously the Gaudy House used 900 resources and return 1000gold
and the Kings road used 300resources and returned 500gold.

They wereworth doing. Not sure what they return now as havent had those quests again since the update.

The dwarven stonecutters thank you for your assistance, and have given you 50 Stone for your trouble.

Just an fyi, I have done a couple of these quests having just sent the resources (Brewer's Dilemma Lev 1 and Geological Survey Lev 1), because I do not have bartering and consequently am unable to ship the beer.  I still received the full reward.

No, I meant to ship the beer listed as one of the items I am supposed to send.

Quests allways consume 1 beer.
You dont need the skill to get the beer consumed :)

You are not shipping the 1 beer.
As you see when you send the items, the 1 beer isnt listed there.

Oh divine stormcrow - one question - all these quests are at level 1, and i've been bashing away at them religiously, and levelling up my tavern etc.

But all to no avail.

They dont seem to respawn any quicker and they also dont level up.

Also the quest research is very poorly populated.

I'm sure you are well aware of the above?

Any hints?  Also i hope that if, sorry, WHEN levelling up and further research is introduced, our work to date wont just be lost, if indeed that is in the mechanic.

Anyhow - i look forward to the update.

Diplomatic & Military Quests you can probably work out :)

Mercenary quests will be "Player-driven" quests (think of it like a player-vs-player contract system with the server holding "escrow" to guarantee payout).

We have multi-part quests as well (escalations), so some of these will cross the subtype boundaries (ie a multi-part trade quest might have one or two parts of it that involve something other than trade).

The quests will not all reward you with goods/resources; many of them will provide other things such as units or Commander XP,  rare (and non-racial) units, hidden ("discovery") technologies and spells that cannot otherwise be gained, and a whole lot more goodness besides.

We are also thinking about collaborative (ie Alliance) quests that would be multi-part, and would need participation from a number of players to achieve the objectives in time <-- but this is for later down the road.

We're quite excited about the upcoming changes to quests, and hope you are too!
