Hey i find it kind of odd that there is no incentive, for a race to settlein their native environment. Humans should be able to live anywhere and maybe orcs but i'd like to see advantages for dwarves to stay in the mountains and elves to stay in forests, say all elven units recieve attack/defence bonus's when defending a forest, otherwise a new elven settlement will always prefer a defensible mountin, or a clay seam to balance resource production

further to that where are the defence/attack bonus's for terrain actually found?? I have read in the forum that mountains are the best defence and seems logical, but would it be possible to have the bonus information available when you hover over a location, it shows the production but how about other info for the area too like its defence attributes for troops there and how it effects the different races (if in fact it actually does...yet). And I like the above idea Big smile

Hey i suggested this in chat but got shot down as elves are already "overpowered" so i was thinking that instead when (or if) animal and winged units are introduced then these types of units can only be produced by elves in forest terrain, and perhaps dwarves con only produce these units in mountains.
