'lo

I noticed after upgrading some of my food sov buildings that my food production hadn't increased. Checking the production screen shows I should be producing 957 food/hour.

Despite this the toolbar shows I am producing 224 food/hour

Next I tested to see if this was just a graphics error. In 60 seconds I produced just over 3 food which is what I would expect with the lower 224 food/hour production speed.

I then checked to see if upgrading farms also failed to increase my production speed and it did not. Upgrading a farm in one of my newer towns produced the expected result.  It seems that I'm getting part of my sov bonus but new sov construction isn't providing any benefit. So far as I can tell this started 2 days ago.

I've tried switching cities and I tried logging out and then back in. This is happening in my city 5-Quintus.

Thanks

Edit: Fixed picture #2 so the post doesn't require horizontal scroll.

I suggest you file a petition if you haven't already.

Yep, got one in. Wanted to post as well in case others are having a similar problem and because the timing makes it seem like this is a bug connected with the most recent patch.

Did you intentionally blank some stuff in the "Bonus" column or is there actually stuff missing?  I figured you might do that with Prestige and/or Taxation, but Environment didn't make much sense...

I started to have fun with paint and kept going.  I think I did a pretty good job in the first picture! (though it's not hard to find the values are since I left my plot and flour-mill info in) The bonuses all appear as they should on the actual resource screen.

I have a similar problem and have had it for a couple of months. I filed a petition (6620) 3 months ago but they haven't looked at it yet. Mine had to do with a mismatch when I changed tax rates though. I did the math and the food use that should have been was not displayed properly when I changed the tax slider so if it was positive when I changed the slider, when I hit apply my production went negative. I don't know if these are related though.

With this in mind I tried changing my tax rate up 1% and found that it fixed my problem and increased my food production to where it should be. So if anyone ever runs into this there is a workaround.

Yes, I too had the same problem this morning and the numbers were reset when I dragged the tax slider.

Dragging the tax slider does not fix it.    I don't understand why we continue to have new issues of this nature.      As for filing petitions, I'm still waiting for replies on other issues.    This is a universal problem for all players, the Devs need to investigate and fix it.

I am finding multiple issues with sov, advance res queues and troop building queues.  Some issues "self-resolve" by which they just go away where I cannot tell if Illy has an issue with pulling data from multiple sources that become temporarily out of sync or they apply a background process to resolve those conditions.  Either way, the lack of details on what (if anything) is being done is frustrating.

...and yes I file petitions though they remain unacknowledged.  It appears using the forum is probably the best way to gain attention.

I got a response to my ticket stating that the bug has been fixed. All of my towns are producing the correct amount of food. I have another round of sov structures that will be complete in a couple days so I'll check to see if they apply the correct production bonus.

Thanks for the response GM Thundercat. I appreciate you looking into this issue.
