I've been informed by a very authoritative source that I am responsible for informing my fellow Directors and confederate partners that we are being viewed as hostile by a certain alliance of trolls. Oh Dear! What happened there HM? HM was referring to an attack made by Malpherion on the city of Prometheusx, which is due to land in 14 hours. In an exchange of mails with HM. Where HM said he would not halt the attack " because he had not been asked to" by Prometheusx, which is odd because the whole purpose of sending a mail to HM was to try and prevent the attack. HM then ,presumably tongue in cheek, gave Prom permission to counterattack Malph (knowing full well that Prome has 5 cities and Malph has 10). Since it became clear that HM himself was relishing this situation and wanting to escalate it rather than resolve it I did the only thing that a 2 player alliance can do when caught in a situation like this. I told him that "his" alliance's actions are hostile and we would treat all his members as such until such time as Prom's and my account cease to exist or H? cease their attacks...In other words H? may want to have their idea of fun by trying to humiliate us with disingenuous mails or by calling us an alliance of trolls in the forums but our response will be to "fight" as hard as we can and for as long as we can. HM even chose to bring this rather small matter to the forum using derogatory titles and language to humiliate us in the forums , but he bungled it and it backfired. Is this action by Malph a feint or a real attack? This is unclear in HM's post ,perhaps deliberately so, We shall treat as a real assault We won't whine, we won't beg...and we won't lie or humiliate...we shall fight! |

I won't bother dithering over it here since the full dialog spoke for itself and I'm not interested in jumping through hoops. If anyone really wants the story, they can get it in our Embassy. I guess I wasn't even allowed to post my own private messages (as in the ones I wrote)? It must be really hard in real life for some of these H? players to take insults. There is no siege or attack player button that can be used in real life. And if this was done in real life, we all know the consequences of the said action would be... Prison or worse. So, H?, enjoy your time in one game where you can do what you want anytime you choose. Because in every other format in life or any other game, you are just another joe. H?, put away your toys and go to your room, you are grounded for 3 months. Another incident that proves H? does not care about the small player, they siege them just like their ally T?. |

According to Prome he logged out almost immediately after making the statement about Malph referred to above...after that he never received any communication from Malph by mail. When he logged in the following day, he saw that a force was scheduled to attack his city. Only now is Malpherion trying to make any communication.... and that is only because he doesn't want look bad in the forums. ...but lets look at the previous record of this member of Harmless? 19 Nov 2011 - Made to pay compensation by the leadership of his then alliance [VIC] for attacking, without warning, a newbe member of the sister training allaince VICX Mails available upon request as proof. cannot publish in forum etc.... 8 May 2012 - attacked an abandoned account held by Valar account again without warning and then demanded compensation http://forum.illyriad.co.uk/h-and-valar-who-is-mightier-and-who-is-right_topic3531.html" rel="nofollow - http://forum.illyriad.co.uk/h-and-valar-who-is-mightier-and-who-is-right_topic3531.html 16 Aug 2012 - launched an attack against prometheusx without warning. This is all evidence that I am presenting in support of Faenorians standpoint. The last piece of evidence concerning Malph and H? are contained in the threat that he makes above " Apologise or the 1 attack will turn into 5" The reply is - Faenorians do not apologise to "proven" bullies especiially those who hide behind; and are protected; by the Harmless? leadership. If we apologise to you now, the record of your past actions referred to above shows that ,you will only do the same type of thing to others. At least this way players will see you for what you are.... and by assocaition the alliance known as Harmless? for what they are. |

I read your entire post more than once, Malpherion, didn't see your point as being consistent, and was wondering if you might clarify.
The ellipsis were to save the reader the tedium of having to reread the whole post--which didn't seem relevant to the idea that anything had been "caused." What I see in what you posted is that someone said they couldn't stand you and then didn't reply in GC (for unspecified reasons) when you threatened them. So where is the part where he caused this? I'm not saying it didn't happen, just saying I don't see it in what you posted. |

Why would you leave your troops inside your city? You must have known they were about to get wiped out. Should have just had them occupy next to you city and let him grab some basic resources. |

Following the unjustifed attack on Prometheusx and the failure to resolve the issue by negotiations we have been threatened with further attacks on all cities. A State of War now exists between Harmless? and the Faenorians. We may only be two members but we won't be pushed around.
