ACCOUNT DETAILS PAGE The Account Details Page allows you to:
- Appoint & Remove Account Sitters
- Stop Sitting on an account that you Sit
- Change your Account Password
The Account Details page can be found in the Options Menu, below the Illyriad Logo in the top left hand corner of your game browser.
ACCOUNT SITTING Account Sitting allows you to nominate up to 2 Players to take control of your account whilst you are offline, on holiday, or otherwise engaged.
Sitters will have NEARLY FULL control over your account whilst they are logged into it, with the following exceptions:
- They are NOT able to spend prestige on your behalf
- The are NOT able to change your password, or edit your Sitting Arrangements in any way
Sitters are, however, allowed to read your emails, send emails (as you), chat (as you), and do anything ingame - including troop orders, production, alliance management, everything - that you currently can.
Therefore it is of PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE that you ONLY APPOINT SITTERS WHO YOU TRUST EXPLICITLY. Be aware that GMs will not reimburse/refund or do anything to "put things right" if a Sitter messes it all up for you.
Once a player is appointed to sit your account, both you and he can cancel the sitting arrangement at any time.
In the event of a login conflict, the Account Owner *always* takes precedence.
Please note that giving out your account's password is against the Terms & Conditions.
SITTING RESTRICTIONS You may only have 2 Sitters on your Account, and you may only be a Sitter on 2 other player's Accounts.
