Now that the Æsir have been sent running nursing their altered ego I think it's only fair TRO agree and abide by the terms of surrender laid out by the TLR.

Need I remind everyone

"I Thordor the Excellent, Supreme Chancellor of The Red Order hereby agree to the terms laid out by the honourable "TLR" (The Long Road)."

They may be harsh but Thordor agreed to them and TLR did'nt start the war TRO striked first. If the good folk's of Illriyad had'nt of stood up for what they believed in TLR could have been destroyed. In my opinion the aftermath of TLR 's victory against TRO is reason enough for TRO to pay up. Their action's have led to TLR being treated unfairly.

mind yer own business, as the two fronts will be willing to let us know something , i am sure they will make a tread themselves.. btw, this is not really something that should interest anyone but the alliances that are involved. as far as i can tell, you are not.

TLR violated the initial Terms of Surrender by canceling the NAP and attacking a TRO encampment.  TRO is not obligated to comply with a treaty that the other side broke.  Seems to me that is separate from the Aesir issue.

... so many trolls to stir the pot, alas they should at least have the backbone not to hide behind alias's...

I would think Illy had tired of all of this, and instead be concerned with Illy v. 2 that will surely have a much bigger impact on all of us. . . Even the weasels who never post under their Illy accounts.

Not often I agree with people but this is one of those times.

Actually, I have a question about this: with the new alliance prestige pool, doesn't it allow alliances to transfer prestige to one another?

If so, wouldn't it stand to reason that the devs themselves have it in mind that prestige -- even in quantities that were obviously purchased -- would be transferred as part of diplomatic agreements? Question

I was asking a question about the ability to transfer prestige from alliance to alliance, and if that's something that the game developers put into the game so that prestige could be traded for diplomatic agreements.

This has already been talked about here: http://forum.illyriad.co.uk/remove-gifting-medals-outside-alliance_topic3828_page1.html" rel="nofollow - http://forum.illyriad.co.uk/remove-gifting-medals-outside-alliance_topic3828_page1.html

Quackers, thank you for the link.

"Use the search button" is aggressive. I was never aggressive with you or anyone, so why are you taking that tone with me? I was only asking a question pertinent to this thread.

You can't transfer prestige from one alliance to another. You are misunderstanding how the system works.

As to the "close the thread, close the thread" posts, if you don't have anything of value to add, don't post.

I thought "use the search button" was an excellent suggestion.  Many people seem unaware of the forum search feature, which admittedly is not as robust as would be desirable.  (Or at least as I would like it to be.)

I really have to disagree with you. First, the terms were already softened just not broadcast per Eternal Fire's wishes. Second, the series of events that led up to the situation to which you refer may not have been directly instigated by TRO but they were instigated on their behalf. Anyone with eyes and without extreme prejudice against TLR will see that the situation of the day was extraordinary.
