This is new and very annoying, could you please give us an option of turning this off?    We don't need a warning about the zoom feature on the map.  :(

It now only warns once per session

But why every session?  Now that we are aware of the issue, it is extremely annoying and we have to wait for it to disappear before continuing with our play.  In essence, it is causing more "lag" than the actual lag it warns about.  That's just ironical.

Those of us that have zoomed our browsers are doing so in order to be able to read and see things.  So we do not really have a practical option to avoid the zoom which means living with the lag.  At least we know why the lag exists.

But please let us disable the popup now that we understand.

The popup wasn't added for no reason or with the intent to annoy anyone. It needs to be there for right now in order to relay important information to our players. We'll take it away when that information isn't necessary or relevant anymore. Please be patient.

Is this popup a warning that says zooming out is for active prestige users only, I only got that warning when I zoomed too close to the max of non prestige users, or is this something else?

The popup is saying that the browser is zoomed in, even though it is not, and warns of performance issues. It is seriously annoying, especially since it is not even an accurate alert. And, it continues to pop up, over and over and over and over...

Its not a big deal.

It should only pop up if you have your browser zoomed in and should only happen once per session.

And I can assure you unanswered petitions are not a "whatever, piss off" move. We have a small team and do our best to get to as many as possible.

This is another case of, "I don't understand what the issue is." What pop up? I haven't seen a pop up on the map yet.

Now I feel like I'm missing out on something (just joking).

AdBlock <div id="warning" ...> apparently does the trick.

Dio, for players who play with their browser at more than 100%, the map can take a long time to zoom and load, so if a player has the browser at more than 100%, they will get a warning telling them this.  Apparently.  My browser is at 100% so I haven't experienced it.

My browser is not zoomed in at all and I get this warning constantly.  It is highly irritating.  I get it both under Windows 7 and Mac OS X, although I'm using Firefox in both instances.
