Hello all, GM Cerberus (Illy's Art Director) and I will be doing a live dev chat this Friday, June 15 at 11 am CST (Noon EST, 16:00 Server Time). We will be doing a walkthrough of the new UI and showing off the Alliance medal designer system and explaining a bit of the work that went into creating it. If you have any questions for us, please leave them in a reply to this forum thread. Keep in mind this is the community/art side of the dev team, so questions about intricate combat math or something of the like won't find a very good answer with us. How do you anticipate the alliance medal system being used by players? Do you anticipate using the new badge and prestige system in creating reward systems for players? Do you devs have a dev only forum where you spend all your time and energy bashing players? (please say yes)

Do you plan to offer a couple of free medals to each alliance to begin with, or, say, once every six months? My reasoning: I foresee that some players might be worthy of medals, but allied players will feel loath to let Prestige go towards them.

Trying to stay 'on topic'  with presentation questions:On the map will the faction color remain yellow or change back to the previous purple-ish color? In the "Next Events" window, why have the secondary build queues for the building and research when they will always be empty? Why not place them to the right of the active build showing their time to complete? .... so you can shrink the area and give more space to the "Friends" window below :)

How much prestige will the medals cost? Will the medals earned be kept by the player if they change alliances? Will we be able to copy medal image files and say post them in the forums as our signature (kind of like how xbox/ps3 achievement/trophy cards in video gaming forums)? BTW my player name is pronounced like the word 'row' with a 'k' on the end (not 'rock' or 'rouk' or 'rook'). :)
