| Hey this was brought up in GC and I would like a good discussion on this, as long as I have been around most of the time we have had a villain from St Jude/Jill, to Borg or even CV, but lately we haven't had a villain, would Illy be better off with a villain and if so would it be fit not to take all of said villain's cities to keep them around to make a more diverse playing experience? |

I would base the zero'd out on human emotions and a mob mentality (though that works on human emotions so..) If you aggravate someone with a high standing in any environment, that persons followers will no doubt agree with that persons view of you as a person. If you as a person are suddenly accosted by what may be deserving treatment by a collective you may in turn become more of an irritable and undesirable person, thus hurrying along a departure or hurried executing of your self. with that said, as I would imagine once you have a collective gunning at you in a flame war, your public persona of yourself will no doubt be further tarnished till you remain as a villain. As I recall both of those players did a few things that aided the community, but as you have shown in your beginning comment on this thread, those are forgotten and all that publicly remains is a villainous persona.

Here's a thought: Perhaps one of the biggest differences between a hero and a villain is not in the deeds themselves, but the ability to accept when one has done wrong and attempt to make amends. I think of the labors of Hercules, for example, performed after he killed his own wife and children. One could argue that he was not entirely at fault in that episode (since he was driven to it by a goddess), yet he took responsibility and made amends. I don't know whether this supposition is accurate. Is interesting to ponder. Could be a lesson for us all.

| true, but is that based on the fact that there is no outlet to really fight other then the occasional tournament so people are looking for people to pick on, thereby creating villains out of random people for perceived slights or is it based on human psychology about picking on people perceived as weaker and easier to destroy. |

I Love this idea. It would have to be a regional villain tho. The problem now is that if anyone starts something just to start it, half of the alliances in Elgea want in on the action, so it becomes a world war. Except the villain is usually 1 guy, or 1 alliance, vs all the forces of good. Now if there was a confederation of villany...

Like a handful of alliances that are very nice to new players, that could be part of one full alliance? A group of people that are fun to hang around but powerful and can take on most of the people in the game? An alliance that we all thought was nice but can turn out to be the bad guys as a nice gesture? |

| Maybe we need a realignment, because right now we have maybe 3 major alliances or group's of alliances. Also we have a bunch of newer alliances with a ton of newbs. Finally we have a bunch of medium sized alliances that are kinda in between, the problem is that those 3 major groups are all basically aligned together and will help each other stay on the top. We need to change the whole system up because as of right now no war can really happen without the big alliances getting involved hense the end of the war. Especially since the majority of the time they jump in on the same side ending any chance for the other side. |

AtH, maybe, just maybe, had you not made extremely offensive racist and sexist remarks as well as harassed some of the females players to the point of driving them from the forums and GC, you wouldn't be hated as much as you are. Just maybe. But no, show absolutely no understanding that what you did was wrong and continue to blame it on everyone else. That's always worked out for you in the past right?

I tell it as i see it, i've never been one to kiss someone's ass when they flounce around gc looking for followers and you won't see me kiss ass now. I wasn't turning this about me, I've even publicly admitted in gc that it was my fault. Instead of trying to bait me*just watch we're going to see someone here say im pulling a victim card* and ruining my reputation as a player such as telling players not to join my alliance which as ive seen some of your fellow members do, how about you sit back and look around. almost a year since ive mad this account, if i was still acting like i was in the *past* i would have had 5 accounts by now. grow up

nah its only the crows that care, ive had people in H?, steel, ~N~ and so on know my past misdeeds and accept that time has passed, but its only people in ncrow, mcrow and hugcr that constantly bring it up. |
