Alliance List The alliance listing page has been spruced up and should be easier to navigate.
Scrollbar The erroneous visible scrollbar on a hidden element caused by the latest release of Chrome has been mitigated and should no longer be causing issues on the world map.

Yeah, I would say that or number of towns. If most sovs claimed are troop sovs, then land claims make a decent proxy for firepower. Personally I think the most accurate metric would be population or land claimed/number of players.
Edited to clarify: The most accurate based on the variables already listed in the rankings.

I would add that a ranking/sorting order is difficult to make meaningful, because there are so many variables, so many purposes in the game, so many measures of effectiveness, and a player wanting such stats is probably going to want to account for different attributes in different ways than anyone else. There are more possible summary statistics than there are players. As such, I don't think we will ever be fully satisfied by any ranking system, but we can make-do with broad statistics we have now, and with what we can find out in-game :o)

I don't know if this is true for anyone else, but the number 20 alliance position repeats from page 1 to page 2 for me. Rhyagelle is both at the bottom of the list on page 1 and the top of the list on page 2. /me suspects they have some special arrangement with the developers to give them extra visibility. |
