I will be ceasin' me pirate speek just long enuf' ta be sayin' this. Where have the old developers and mods gone? I remember when I started hearing about MOD-Strategos and I could find old stuff on him in the forums. Where is he? Are there any others that we used to have in the past? I have tributed my latest town to his memory. If ye be knowin' of any from tha past, I should be likin' it if the names be posted down below. GM Gryphon seems to have vanished as well, but he was never all that active. |

Arrr! There be stories from the fo'csle about (Mod) Bosun Stategos. He were a whale hunter. Some say he were marooned on Svaldbard after the good ship Windypigeon were lost with all hands. The last that were seen of him was when his breeches were blown away by blast of St Elmo's fire. But they say his spirit live on and that on a clear day the smoke from his ol'' pipe can be seen for miles around .

I never knew Strategos; he disappeared around the time the new UI was introduced last May or June I believe. GM Gryphon is alive and well and attending to the all-important Balance. I imagine Thunderkitty and Stormy are keeping him quite busy with math as a result of all the features being introduced and planned. New spell schools and trade v2 probably require careful balancing.

That was another one but I forget his name. He didn't have GM in front of his name but he was one. It started with an A and had an I and a K in it, he only made like 3 posts and was never to be seen again. It would actually be nice to have a list of all the people who are part of "Illyriad Games Ltd"(didn't know that was the name of it until I looked it up actually). -------------  |

Related to this, (if I can get everyone to make time in their already busy schedules) I'm hoping to do a blog series of interviews with the dev team so you can all learn a little more about us. Some of them names are system names like member_profile.asp?PF=1" rel="nofollow - Illyriad Admin , member_profile.asp?PF=9" rel="nofollow - Illyriad Help . Some names might be alts of other admins, some might have quit/got fired, some admins might not be there, but all are loved :P |
