Elgea Property Listings Any look upon the map may show that Selwyn is no longer an active player on this server and as a result there are several cites currently vacant, pre-furnished, and ready to move into.
WE would like to first and foremost claim only three cities for ourselves, Pen Rhionydd, Pomparles, and Llyn Llydaw. Considering the amount of WE bricks and mortar that went into these cities and their beneficial location regarding our alliance, WE feel it’s not too much to ask for. DLord have spoken up requesting Lady of the Lake and WE would appreciate all to consider this as currently theirs.
The other five cities are of no concern to us. WE will not stand in the way of anyone who wishes to claim them, and by all means leave us out of the politics of taking them, as far as WE’re concerned may the best squatter enjoy their new abode. |

RMY, Stan and Traten were at Tintagel first and you guys had nearly two weeks to send an army to occupy the city. No one would have gone near the city if it was marked with an army because *most* people honor that someone else got there first. -------------  |

WE had been hoping that Selwyn's account might get reinstated unfortunately last night Shanks was informed that that was not going to be possible. That is the main reason that WE have held back from making any decisions regarding Sel's citys. Shanks has since consulted with all WE members and the above has been determined to be the city's we feel we can rightfully claim as our own. I think the WE alliance page makes the point quite clearly. Shanks has also been in communication with several alliances relating to this situation and our wishes have been respected by those that have communicated.
Sorry if this has caused any confusion some of our members have fierce loyalties towards Sel and have only been trying to look after his interests while a decision was waited on. So I guess those that wish to take the other city's please feel free.

It is about a year which has passed. We were 3 people helping the T? leadership Urgorr, Selwyn and me with all the rest staff. I personally have passed great moments with Selwyn about half a year and although we have disagree about his opinions about T? i always liked him be arround in illyriad. I believe Selwyn was a great person and even if we have crossed our words Illyriad will miss such persons. I am sieging his city Llan-Y-Gelli in Lan Larosh. |

I never said anything about specifically sieging the city, I just said mark it with an army, which is what Stan and Traten had done.
Is there a specific reason mCrow was not given the chance for communication? I'd hardly call WE dropping their NAP with mCrow and sending armies *before* sending a message communication. Not to mention the message sent summed up to "leave or die".

The Murder of Crows has claimed the abandoned city of Tintagel, and we have no intention of relinquishing this claim. I fully support an alliance's right to claim the cities of any inactive or suspended member, but this claim needed to be put forward more than a week ago for me to consider it as a superior claim. Also, territorial disputes such as this should be addressed diplomatically though direct communication with the alliance leaders, not in the forums or, in the field. ScottFitz

Shanks, you better get those cities before someone else does. I don't think your claim is any better than anyone else's unless you are actually sieging the city. It's not a even a case of Selwyn going innactive. You cast him out, and that's why he left the game. You have no special rights on his stuff. Also, marking is not sufficient. If it was, I could sit a spearman forever in front of a location and say it's mine (while I wait to grow 40k in pop to get my next town, for instance).

Lol creature you are so right! If it has been done before, reinstating an account, it is clearly not being done any longer, because leaving the game permanently is at the hands of the player not the Devs. As for being contemporary or courteous with my choice of words, I apologize. I can honestly say this game had not always treated me in a courteous contemporary way. As for the loss of Selwyn, he and I got along about as well as oil and water. I do feel bad that a permanent lesson had to be learned by him and everyone that loved him. His choice to leave the game the way he did and that loss will be deeply felt by many. Selwyn, I remember the issues with you all too well while you were in T?. I know how you are. You will not blame me for anything. I didn't make you do anything that you did. You controlled your computer and your account. Everything that happened was of your own frustration and doing. I tried to help and in the end all you did was spit in my face and complain. I have not had contact with you since right after you left T? the final time back on April 28th. This is the last contact I will ever choose to have with you. Selwyn-- If you are done with this game (as was stated), then please be done with it. If you aren't, then please play. but please don't just join the endless hordes of pseudo players who hang out to comment on events they aren't controlling or even contributing towards... I have the utmost respect for players (even those like St. Jude who tweak our nose every day). But the whole "I left Illy and want to still comment" thing is stale. |

I can understand your loyalty to Ladyluvs since she is the Director of your confed ie Toothless? However her posts in this thread have been - less than courteous- and in fairness, it was she who raised the subject of Selwyn first. This, it seems, caused him to comment for the first time since he left his account. She wasn't the first, nor in fact did she even mention him. She correctly pointed out that it is clearly stated that you can't restore a suspended account. There also wasn't, as far as I can tell, any sarcasm. I don't know where that came from.

wow....... this is really getting silly. I will say only this... Selwyn left Illy after RMY dumped him from WE to avoid large fallout from him sending 12,000 marshals to attack a player with a town population of 200ish. The record of all this is quite clear. What more can be said? What more should be said? waves off the crowd now and returns to what he was engaged with.... Origami
