Minecraft

You need to purchase the game before you can play it.

Forgive my trolling... but why the hell would I pay for a game before I know what it is about.

Especially when said game looks loke a bunch of very large pixels.

NO. WAY.

I don't know what this is, but if it's not to expensive I'm up for it.  I've heard people say it's fun.

You can still play the Classic version for free from their website.  It's out of date and doesn't have the options the full game offers, but it would give you an idea of gameplay and if you like building or not.

I'd also be up for playing.  I already host a very small private server for my wife and I and can't spare the cash for another, but I can offer some advice on keeping one up and stable.  I know at least one reliable hosting service that keeps their machines in good order.  the biggest cost limitation is the number of users it will accept online at one time.

So a bit off topic:  What the heck is Google Canada?  Were Canadians up in arms over not having the ca at the end?  Does it automatically punctuate sentences with "ay"?  Is it just the French option?  So many questions...

also the common ground now haz cows in them

Couldn't you just make some dirt in a oval like shape for an empty plot? nice work in Minecraft by the way Lorre, wish I had more time for Minecraft at the moment, but I'm too busy with all the other stuff that I'm doing right now, haven't even got on the wiki lately :(. I'm just working on a few mazes in my creative mode and making a huge mine in my survival mode. and as far as hardcore mode goes...I only survived until nightfall on the first day :D

And your guy looks a bit hungry, maybe ya should feed him a bit :P

I started this too, I'm going to try to include the iron mines, quarries, clay pits, etc. on the outskirts of town. I got the castle up and working on a barracks, I'll post some screenies when I'm further along.

(I might run out of room where I started.....that would suck)

will love to see ur screens :D

yea i had to add some piece of land to mine outside of the walls for all that stuff

I was forced to start over, didn't have enough room (didn't want to build on top of the ocean. This time I'm laying down build plots to zone out the town, once that's done I can start on the buildings again. Might be awhile before I get any screenies up...

Sorry to hear about your tech issues Lorre. You shouldn't have deleted the world though! You could still access it from a new comp!
