This afternoon we had a glitch in the system that accidentally credited all accounts with 3575 prestige. It has since been corrected and the prestige removed from everyone's accounts. If you weren't online at the time you will notice no difference in the prestige amount in your account.

If you were online at the time and tried to take advantage of the extra prestige by spending it, I'm sorry for the confusion.

Any player who exploited the bug and overspent what prestige they had in their account before the glitch will have noticed that their amount was then in the negative. Those players will now have their account set back to 0 prestige and their excessive prestige spending reversed.

We are sorry for the confusion and any inconvenience this may have caused. Thanks.

This was just a minor glitch. It is nice to see that the Dev team have speedily rectified everything correctly and will making good any real loss. If indeed there was any. WD Dev team

It serves no useful "ingame" purpose to make an issue of this nor of the location of this thread, which is clearly recognisable, in the forum.

I apologize if my suggestion offended anyone. It was not intended as a criticism, just as feedback. Someone asked a question about the prestige glitch and the first place I looked was the Announcements threat. I'm sorry if this was interpreted by some or all as an attempt to make an issue out of something.
