Updates (06APR):
- New Player Tutorial
- An ingame tutorial for new players - guiding them through their
first steps in Illyriad - has just gone live.
It introduces new players to some of the fundamental concepts of the
game, and rewards them with some additional resources as they go.
We think that some existing players might want to get their hands on
these resources as well, so we will shortly be allowing all players to
do the tutorial when they next log in.
If you have already completed the steps (such as "Build a Library") you
will be able to skip through it very quickly.
- World Map
- Villages, Towns and Cities now show their terrain type behind them
on the map (in a partially transparent manner). This should help make clear what kind of terrain will affect combat.
Updates (05APR):
- Fansites - Licence and graphics packs
- Players who want to set up their own fansites, wikis, killboards
& other tools now have a legal way to use Illyriad's graphics, data
and other intellectual property!
