Newbie definition could be date joined Illyriad, i.e., July 15, 2011

Tournament timetable two weekends based on Illyriad time

Weekend 1: newbies can choose to enter either Saturday or Sunday, but not both days. Both days are (day 1) of tourney.

Weekend 1: newbies who complete the most challenges, i.e., top 40 percent move on to compete (day 2) Saturday of Weekend 2

Weekend 2: Two days of competion: 

Saturday (day 2) determines top 20 percent of each team who move on to compete Sunday (day 3)

Sunday (day 3) end of the tournament produces eight first place winners, the player who completed the most challenges on each team

Teams based on location of player's capital city (specify illyriad coordinates):

northeast

east

southeast

south

southwest

west

northwest

Resource trading and gifting should only occur between team members during the Tournament timetable. 

Challenges, for instance, could be based on completing existing quests (no additional dev input)

Bonuses:  Bonus for entering the tournament

Bonus for completing one challenge

Bonus for finishing day 1 in top 40 percent

Bonus for finishing day 2 in top 20 percent

Bonus for finishing day 3 in top 10 percent

First place prize for each team
