I feel very sad seeing this.. you are one in a million kind of person Lorre. The first caravan to ever reach my city was yours, within hours after joining Illy, a newbie pack with horses and saddles and stuff.. and as squill said, a player that leaves takes away something for good.. I really hope you stay.. |

I think Lorre will continue playing on his alt or start a new account. At least I hope. No one should leave unless they get bored with the game. And lets be honest, Lorre made illy interesting and has been an important player no matter if you agreed with him or not. |

I'll say this for Lorre, of all his threats against me, he didn't join in on the "StJude is our whipping boy" mob mentality that sprung up at the end of the VALAR war. I for one would be curious as to his initial involvement and whether we was instrumental in VALAR's emasculation or was also blinded by Amroth's egomania. Anyway kudos and champagne to him there for having the decency to not go after an easy target. So Lorre, at the very least, DON'T suspend your account. Hopefully a wee break and we will see you in a few weeks.

No Jude he didn't do that to you but he did make threats against me in GC and encourage others to attack my account. This was during and after the war with Valar and he meant them. What was worse was that he could not keep his word to a friend because I thought we were friends way back. In contrast and contrary to propaganda Azreil was an honourable player who would apply the rules of his alliance strictly and without favour but, in general, could be trusted to keep his word. I shall miss Azreil. |

Borg sent a siege at one of his towns to test, it was crushed by ScottFitz. Sounds like Lorre is a.) still around b.) Is taking a break and will be around or c.) Mr Fitz hopes he will still be around or d.) Mr Fitz has his eye on those cities for himself or others. My bet is either a. or b.

I wish I had seen that siege. I would also have smashed it. To anyone who has his/her eye on Lorre's, Leung's or Art's cities, when they're noticed they WILL be smashed. If not by Scotty, by someone else- and most certainly the Cave. You won' have the benefit of a few days grace, then I'll attack- nope, I'll attack immediately and THEN tell the player to remove the siege or it dies. Attacking friends, inactive or not, is a line you do not cross with the Cave.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. After 84 days assuming they used prestige the account is going to be deleted, better someone take the cities than let them go to waste. Unless they are faking their, I see no reason for anyone to clear sieges off the cities and I would actually consider doing so an act for war. ------------- |

Protecting Leung's/WB's suspended cities does not make sense. In time, those cities will be erased by the system. Protecting Lorre's cities does make a lot of sense since he did not close his account. That leaves the door open for his return. And intact cities will encourage him to return if he ever decides to peek in on us.
