I am currently experiencing a negative storehouse balance due to thefts.  In my situation, I caravaned the supplies out of my city, but when the thieves hit I still lost the resources.  Now for the double Whammy, I am also negative in the city by the amount the thieves stole.

I have sent a petition in, but I'm aware that others are also experiencing this so thought I'd post, so others can follow suit and hope to get this noticed and fixed faster.

What do you mean by caravaned out of the city?  If you put the items on the market, the goods are still available to steal, until your donkeys leave the city.  If you send the goods from one of your cities to another or to another player, this should not occur.  Am interested to know if the second is your situation.

The second scenario.  The goods were shipped by caravan from the target city to my capital.  I went back to look for the Trade message, but have already deleted, but still have the theft report which lists the items that were taken.  Only the Leather armor is in the negative.

This was not "at the last minute" either as I believe I did it in advance as my notice only came about 30 minutes out.   So should not have affected the availability.

So Rill, I agree.   It does not seem logical that items could be stolen that are not in the city (since intercepting vans is not available yet).  But to have the items stolen by someone else, and still have to have a negative balance seems redundant also.

That's what Madoff said.
