I do not understand the purpose of Generating Books as they require 25 research points to make and when converted they generate only 20 research points. Would someone please tell me what I am missing. Thanks in advance Julian |

| You're missing the DM's cut. Making sure conversion costs something you don't get back means there's a tradeoff, and you'll not convert back and forth "recklessly." Having a tradeoff/conversion cost ensures decisions will be weighed more carefully. |

Hi Julian, Books are used for casting spells, and for creating a number of the more advanced military and diplomatic units. They can also be used as a way of transferring or selling knowledge (Research Points) to other players & cities. Hope that helps, GM Stormcrow |
