somehow i got blocked out from illyriad. Everytime i try to load uk1.illyriad.co.uk it says currently unavailable try again later. when i use someone elses computer however i can log on and everything's fine. The rest of my internet is working as it should. I didn't break any game rules or said bad things on global chat. Does anyone know what possibly could have caused this?
I really miss the game Cry

Hi Corwin,

Nothing at our end, I assure you!

A permaban would say "Forbidden" rather than "Unavailable" LOL

1. Have you tried emptying your browser's cache?
2. These other computers you've tried, are they on the same network?
3a. Can you get to http://www.illyriad.co.uk" rel="nofollow - this page ?
3b. Can you get to http://uk1.illyriad.co.uk/Account/LogOn" rel="nofollow - this page ?

Regards,

SC

still unable to load page. Anyone have any suggestion? Or is it just made impossible for me to play the game ever again? All this started when i trieds to answer a question Azreil asked me in Global Chat. I did not give any answer that could have been offensive in  any way.

Hi all,

It's not a problem at the Illy end I'm afraid.

2 of you are using the same Internet Service Provider, and the third one of you three uses a smaller ISP (who routes through the same larger ISP as the other two) - so it's almost undoubtedly a routing table issue with your ISP.

Glad to know they appear to have rectified it.

SC

Hi Corwin,

I'm afraid you're going to have phone your Internet Service Provider at this point - and ask them to run traceroute diagnostics from your point-of-presence to www.illyriad.co.uk or uk1.illyriad.co.uk domains; it's fundamentally an issue at your ISP or somewhere on the routing table inbetween.

It's vaguely possible that it might be related to the same issue that affected a few other players this morning, and so that routing table correction (again, not by us but by a third party) might propagate out to you over the next 48hrs or so depending on TTL.

Apart from that, I'm sorry but there's nothing we can do about this one, as it's entirely out of our control.

Regards,

SC
