So Anyone else experiencing log-in issues with FB only account? For some reason the FB proxy code is only popping up a window but then stops.

This issue is a problem on multiple computers as well as on Firefox 3.9 and Firefox 4 as well as IE 8

Is this a known server side bug or is it something I am doing wrong on the client side?

Are you going from the facebook page, your facebook bookmarks or clicking connect on the login page?

What i typically do is log-in to facebook,  then use the illyriad book mark that is in the far left frame of the facebook layout.  I press that and it takes me to a login page which gives me the option to "connect with fb"  via a button.   This button pops up a window which loads a mostly empty screen.  Yet the window does nothing after loading.

I will check that link to the actually app page. Thanks

Edit:  That link button that says "go to app" takes me to the same page where i encounter the same issue.

Edit 2:  Here is the pop up window url:

There appears to be a Facebook related issue:  http://bugs.developers.facebook.net/show_bug.cgi?id=17436 - http://bugs.developers.facebook.net/show_bug.cgi?id=17436  we are looking to see if there is a work around we can use.

This takes me to a page where I see three login options:

one for new players, one for existing players and one to connect with facebook.

I click conncet with facebook and that pop up window issue occurs.

With the alarming, clockwork regularity of monthly bugs originating in facebook themselves, I'm slightly beginning to lose patience :(

Well, yes - me too (on both)...

It's beginning to eat up internal dev time trying to find workarounds for whatever it is that fb have accidentally borked this month; and by the time we have the workaround in place, they fix the issue a couple of days later, and then we have to spend time unpicking the workaround...

As a very small independent game producer, we find having to "support" and "work around" a multi-$billion corporation's borkness "frustrating"... to put it mildly :)

Nevermind me, I'm just venting.  Carry on!

Sadly, Facebook's reputation does not include strong technical expertise.
