I'm sure that over the last few weeks, you have seen James Russell on these forums, on GC, etc. Some ex-CrowB members may know him from his brief period in that alliance. So, to briefly outline the history of JR. His grandfather, daver123, invited him to the game, and brought him to CrowB. He enjoyed it there, but after some of his friends leaving the game (Bragdush the Bald, foremost) he chose to leave CrowB and find a new alliance. He first asked T?, but after a few hours of no reply he changed his mind. He went to Dark Blight, my alliance. I offered him the invitation. First off, he was interested in sorting out recruitment. But our problem with giving him recruitment rights was that we weren't completely happy with giving someone, brand-new to the alliance, recruitment rights. We are always very cautious with our recruits, and we decided that we should give ourself time to settle into DB before giving him the rights. JR kept pestering us about the rights, but we kept stalling him, until one day Belthazor told him that we weren't ready to trust him yet. JR got angry, and threatened to leave. Luckily I smoothed the situation over before it could esculate. But the incident served two purposes- it began to tell us of the rising tension between Belthazor and JR. And it also told me of the fact that JR, if annoyed, may leave DB. Which I wasn't particularly pleased about, but I couldn't do anything about it. Apart from keep my eye on him. It wasn't enough. One day, JR (I can't remember the exact circumstances) said some racist things to Belth. This annoyed him slightly, but Belth turned it into a joke and recorded the chat logs. As it turned out, this was useful, but I won't post those chat logs here. They'll just get removed by SC for profanity. After that, me and Belth started joking lightly about me dating his sister. And let it be known that we were not insulting at ALL to his sister. But in jumps JR, and announces: No... I'd better not say. But basicly, toned down a bit, he said that he'd have sex with Belth's sister and walk away a happy man. Belthazor feels great loyalty to his family, and got furious. He left DB, and attacked JR, who was amazed, and thought that Belth overreacted. I'll leave THAT decision to you.... And now we reach today. Well, they've been fighting, quite a bit actually, for the past day or so. He's been offered aid on GC (Belth, this is) but he's decided to take it alone. Well... alone and with me. I'm assisting him. However, Dr Gonzo is now sending troops against Belth. Kind of convenient timing for JR.... So that's the situation. We're NOT asking for help. We're telling the world of the full situation, and I hope that you will be on the right side. OUR side.

I will also speak. Forgive me,for I do not have Nok's eloquence. Jr, over the past few days, showed a lack of maturity amazing. He was mad at me,mainly, because my monitor died and I wasn't as much active as always.He failed to understand that I have an history with DB and our older members he never had. He also failed to understand that my attack was a lesson.Yes, a lesson. I was a fool once,too. But I changed my ways. Once,I made Cerb mad. Cerb attacked me. I thank him for that. If he hadn't done that, I woundl't have evolved. I would be like him. We don't ask for your support. We only ask for your comprehension. Please understand this is something we will handle ourselves. While I feel that people posting topics like this to the forums is a complete waste of time, and it seems to show that they are unsure if they are in right and want the opinion of everyone else. That quote above, it may have seen like a light joke to you and the other participants, but to JR it could have been viewed as a direct insult upon his family. To put it frankly these three player's have tarnished DB's image. James mailed me a few day's prior to this drama unfolding inviting me to join DB, I checked out the alliance profile and admit DB looked a cool alliance. I mailed back and asked for an invite. That's when my view changed, DB has a lot of inactive's the main players were the three in question and it's was like listening to a bunch of kid's. The last straw for me was when JR got attacked by a fellow member, I cut all tie's and quit. I say let them battle it out themselve's and pay no heed to it, it remind's me of being back in school havin a punchup in the playground |

I have had word from Dr. Gonzo regarding his attack upon DB. This attack Is Gonzo's reaction to comments made yesterday on public forum about the Eternal Champions. He reports it was Bel and Nokigon. I consider both rodents and have armies larger than their populations so I let the matter slide. (two fools who bellow for their own egos sake) I don't think Gonzo wanted to let it go so easy. I believe Gonzo is about equal to them, so it should be a good match, 1 Champ against two blighters... I think they're in trouble

Generally I agree that we should stay out of this but i'm not sure I agree with the above comment. It really depends on who takes an interest. If one player/alliance starts complaining about being a victim it is very hard to prove otherwise unless you have spent a lot of time recording and screen dumping the wrongs commite against you. All of which is also easy to make up/ photoshop so still may not prove that your siege is justified.
Given personal experience I think jumping on the forums to pre-empt these sort of arguments is always a good idea and that while you may be sure that your in the right, it is wise to realise that it will never be clear to those outside the situation.

Personally, I think it's fine to make a post, explaining the situation. The truth is that we're a very nosy community, and everyone would be wondering what was happening if they only heard a part of it :P That would lead to a lot of miscommunication and turn the problem into something bigger than it is. And to me, this doesn't seem like a pathetic cry for help from someone who can't handle their own problems or simply someone bad-mouthing others. Thank you. That is EXACTLY what I had in mind. Also, I can't post the whole conversation- don't have it. Apologies. Kurfist, JR's family never came into it. ME dating BELTH's sister. And again, this forum post was to show what happened. Not ask for aid.

Lol, Nokigon... Belthazor you suprise me more and more, no point in me even posting here...your worthless. Getting more people invovled is making it worse for yourself DB are a horrible tribe, they pick on people that are smaller like me, DB declared war on me! -------------

To Noki's alliance, I sent two messages to Nokigen, have him paste them to your forums to understand what happened with naivuud. The important thing is that my army is on the way to JR's city to reinforce him, I had sent it out two days ago after he hired me as a defensive mercenary, and now he's suspended. That means shortly after my army lands in 4d 23 hr I'll be recalling it with a messenger. Be careful not to launch an attack that lands after then. HOWEVER, since I was hoping to get this army destroyed anyways, I could keep it camped there and let you know the composition of it if you haven't scouted it already, if you'd like to attack it once the walls are down. Otherwise I'll messenger it back and you can have JR's stuff. |

| Duuvian, unless you have a real important reason to losing your Army, I feel like there is no reason for keep your army their just to have it killed. Soldiers take long enough to make already so why waste your time rebuilding. |
