I would like if scouts could tell also the underlying battle terrain in the future?

Now there is so many different looking squares and NPC squares, so it is not easy to remember what battle terrain they are. Just the same information you get in the battle report would be enough. What to do I think?

Personally, I think the combat terrain type should be displayed on the popup when you click on a sqaure on the world map (let alone scout reports)...

Would that do?

Best,

SC

As an aside: It does currently say what the underlying terrain is under the locations coordinates on the Military orders page (is in [] brackets)

I was about to post new a thread for exactly the same topic but then I found this one, so I'll try to resurrect it:

Dear ThunderCat having the info on terrain in the scouting report would be much better.
When I get the report I go to the armies page to adjust the troop composition of the attacking army to the scouted target and, to do this properly, I obviously need to know what terrain I'll be fighting on.
I know the info on the terrain is available in the orders page (or in the world map) but the point is that I want to avoid having to open another page.

When you hover your mouse over a tile, it shows on the right side in square brackets, what the terrain is.

Yeah, but you have to close the scout report to see that.  Some of us are lazy and don't want to do that.
