Lord Loss started a thread the other day about greatest/favourite movies, and I found it much easier to come up with really bad ones that I wish I had never seen. I figure considering the propensity for nastiness and bitching on these pages, others might well find it straightforward, too. The Butterfly Effect - couldn't make it past 20mins. Zoom - watched this all the way through, just the other day. I am considering suing. Firewalker - far be it for me to criticise Chuck The Great, but I actually got my money back after watching this stinker. |

Jaws was a classic film!!!!! You're right though it is horrible... but still a classic. I'd have to vote for Troy. The Trojan Horse wasn't the only cast member whose acting was wooden!

Peter Parker was never supposed to be a whiny, angsty kid, rather a well-raised and balanced but confident young adult (with a normal dose of judgement mistakes). I did think Spider-man 2 did a good job with the Dr. Octopus character, though. |

I second these as horrible.
Also add Three Amigos and most films with Woody Allen (but not all... Woody has a few good ones)and pretty much every film with Barbara Streisand in it.

I watched the godfather trilogy twice in a row (it took a couple days). I was occupied weaving chainmaille throughout, but I still loved them. They are rife with subtleties and a solid yet poetic realism. I'm told the books are even bigger and better, and want to read them soon. |

I laughed at the movie when I was in the cinema, unfortunately it was at the time when the first person is killed by "freddy?" so people thought was laughing at the guy's death.

I guess it's natural to wake up in a diner with no one around and follow a mysterious lady into a gruesome kitchen and then get your throat ripped out.. ------------- It's just a game. :) |

Not sure if it's the new one you have seen(Haven't seen that one), but if it is, I promise you it can only be better than the original...
