I have just settled a new city. I began to wonder how many new cities there are in a week? Are cities being settled on a daily basis? Perhaps a GM would tell us the stats. ------------- I am a Machine. |

| We have access to those stats. towndata.xml has us covered, if we take the time to extract the data into more useful format. It's on my TODO list, and partly what my XML Parsing post was about. |

Wait you don't have something? every time i click on it all my villagers come out and dance around it while cheerfully singing a victory song. unfortuntely dwarven thieves stole all my food and water, so no one dances... those ********! ------------- It's just a game. :) |

It's actually quite a difficult question to answer, as there are of course towns also being abandoned by inactives, and the difference depends on how many inactive accounts we "throw out" for each new player who joins (something we tweak occasionally). There are also second/third etc towns being created as well. In terms of raw data, though, there are generally between 50 and 80 new towns added to Illyriad each day.
