Hi, I am about to get Halberdiers and I was wondering if my spearmen will aitomatically be upgraded or will I have to start producing my whole army again from scratch? Thanks |

| Well, you'd think they'd hire spearmen with some experience and teach them how to use the new equipment, but management would rather start fresh with halbardiers right out of school, even if those new guys barely know which end of the spear to stick in the other guy. |

You'd still have to give them the new weapons though, my tier 1 spear unit costs 1 beer and 1 spear, my tier 2 spear unit however costs 1 beer 1 spear 1 chain mail and 1 leather armour. "uups"

Thats a possibility, upgrade from tier 1 to tier 2 spearman would then cost you 1 leather armour and 1 chain mail armour (as the rest has been supplied). But to automatically get them bumped up for free would be severely imbalanced.

2 spears, 1 chainmail and 1 platemail?! That is a bit steep isn't it?! Also why would they wear 2 kinds of armour? |

| Actually the finest pieces of armour were a mix of leather, chain mail and plate so its quite normal. |

Lack of upgrade option is mildly dissatisfying. Lack of upgrade option AND lack of any way to disband units is outright annoying. |

Yeah its a bit steep imo too! Make it 2 spears 1 leather armor and 1 chainmail like the humans >.< Damn orcs getting the easy way again :( |
