This is just a humble noob opinion so feel free to correct me if I am wrong,but do you honestly expect anyone to join in on this while the war against TMM is going on?

i also see a flaw. if you can only use 1000 troops and only 1 city, no one is going to send troops cause theres 3 other people that can wipe them out... edit: also, i feel like having 5 regions is a lil bit confusing for 1 tournament...doesn't quite make sense to me. Remember: simpler = better |

why not limit it to 1000 at a time and no more than say 5000 total troops or something like that.
Just because in the last tournament i used less than 2k troops and still got second doesn't mean much, to me at least.
EDIT:Ah yes I forgot. Tell me which place my capital fits into (-471, -58), i am unsure of where exactly these regions are. And if there is a tournament place i will attempt to compete in this new style tournament

The rules made for the tourney are not up for suggestions or anything like that. If you want to suggest anything, make a thread in the suggestion forums.
I do know there are two wars going on, so that will at least delay participation from those in the wars. Again, these are the rules and I feel these rules will make the tournament more fair for all. Again, if you want to suggest something, this is not the thread to do it. Post here if you want to be an admin or a player. |

Keep in mind I am well aware of lower pop players... I am thinking that a 250 troop tournament should be started also. With the buy-in much cheaper for the players to enter. The buy-in for this tournament will be 50,000 gold. Top player will win 300,000 gold and the 2nd place finisher will win 100,000 gold. Same rules as the 1000 troop tourney but smaller amount of troops and smaller buy-in.
The location of the tournament can change for both pops depending upon who wants to play in this tournament. |

Okay think this through, how are you going to figure out a buy-in for players that have 10k troops and a player with only 500 troops? I am pretty sure I have thought this out far longer than you have. |

So it strikes me that these tournaments and jousts set up on Global Chat favor the attacker.
By using equal numbers for both attacker and defender, the attacker has an inherent advantage of firepower. Perhaps a Defender could "auction" his action to the attacker that bids the _lowest_ number of units to attack with. This _might_ give a defender a chance at a win.
