In all honesty, I think it is too soon to say. Hopefully we have been spared the worst of the bugs and if so it is certainly going to make the game more interesting on all sorts of levels. Question

as do I.  We will have to wait and see how alliance's decisions make or break them.

I think it was totally good.

In my old area the place was saturated with fairly equal level players.
which meant there was very few NPC's about.

Now that i have moved, and the people who i moved with are in our new area, my commanders are already more experianced.
My coffers are fuller
and my people safer.

i voted some because not all probably move to the place they want

i do know its impossible to move all to where they want without any conflicts

I think its to early to say, it will be better once the factions and new trade go live because until then we have all just swapped locations, yes you may have moved away from a neighbour you dont like but if you have moved to an alliance hub again you are tied in with them for the long haul of the game.

Well for people like me that lead an alliance it is very good because of easy makings of an alliance hub.

other than being able to move closer to your alliance for better protection or faster trading with them its to ealry to tell once Tv2 is released we will have a better idea of whats goin on and how well we chose our new spots and even if its not as good a place as you thought it would be the next release after that could change your opinion you have to consider this game keeps changing so bad today could be good tomorrow or vice versa

I guess I'll be the first to say not at all, though probably not for the reason you think. I am glad that they let us move and I did in fact move all of my cities however I put them next to a river. The reason this doesn't help me is because a river is currently just a blue line on the map. So right now, the move hasn't helped me at all. Though in the future that may change.

Actually, at the moment it's kind of a negative as some guy moved in to the north of me and seem to enjoy bumping my caravans. I guess it'll be a battle of who eventually gets tired of resending their caravans...

I think if you put a "too early to tell" option in this poll you would get most votes in that. Devs have not had time to implement any of the stuff that makes free move exciting yet.

I'm a bit shocked that the majority of the people voted ''totally'' as most people are a bit borred now...

I think that's down to not being able raid inactives any more rather than the move though.

Seem pointless logging on much more than 2x a day just to upgrade buildings now :-)

Move was nice, and regions give a lot more opportunities for RP. (some good ie StA, some bad ie TMM) And that will be enhanced yet again when NPCs become active.

Everything is good for alliances and bad for loners.  Heck, that holds true for just about everything in life, so it certainly does for social experiments (a.k.a browser-based games) as well.
