due to the nature of the game there are some bullies out there. well call them out here. please put in game name only no coords they are easy to find. disclaimer any attacks against you because of post are not my liability but if you want message me and i will post and NOT name you. also bulling can get out of control so if we don't stand up it will. state why your accusing and if the accused replies no heated arguments please. and please be honest don't lie about being bullied. |

If you want protection, join an alliance that has members who are ready to fight to protect their young members. This post is a farce. You can lie here. If you dont, others might. the people that have already been called out are freelancers, who are in no alliance and seem to pick on newer players who have no chance, in my opinion there should be something else for these people to attack and maybe with these new factions it will help bind people together.

maybe but i hope we don't sink that far. but if someone chose to attack should look at the claim closely to determine the validity but this is a call out too not a lets take them out. also get both sides of the story too. |

If you are not in an alliance you put yourself in a position to be bullied. Plenty of alliances protect new players and even provide resources to build with. If a new player gets bullied, tell them to join an alliance (that has some teeth). Even if you want to play the game solo, you can join an alliance early on, then go off on your own when you can fend for yourself. Having a forum post here to stir up the mob with so much as a 'he attacked me, everyone wipe him off the map!' is just as bad as the initially bully, in my completely un-humbled opinion. That's all. (people lie to profit. it's weird, but true.) |

Best way to handle bullies is the global chat. Noobs should ask for help or advice, then the numerous newbie-friendly alliances can go defend them and add em' to their ranks. Most of the bullies I know have gotten obliterated by sieges. In the end, they got bullied.. and honestly, it's not fair. Bullying is a good thing. We are jealous of the #1 alliances for a reason. They are pro thugs. |

Honestly, there will be bullies and counter bullies and that's what makes the game glorious. you post a name and maybe I'll go strike at them.... or maybe ill go reinforce so my commanders level up when others go to smash him. Grunvagr, can you clarify the statement "they are pro thugs?" I can't tell what it is you're saying. In case its relevant, I'd like to point out a couple things regarding Harmless's behavior and stance: 1) We have an unspoken hands-off policy regarding 3rd party troubles. Any bullies we've set straight earned our wrath not for being thugs, but for exercising their thuggery against players under our protection. More talented bullies know better than to bite off more than they can chew. 2) We do not believe in fair retribution for offenses...at least not as many here seem to define it. Our alliance tag and that of our sister alliance carry weight. If you hit a player under our protection, we will hit you, and we will hit harder. Persist, and we'll hit harder and harder until there's nothing left to hit. The message is clear: hitting our players hurts you more than us, so don't do it. It is often not possible to help defend against attacks before they arrive, so in absence of prevention, we compensate with an overabundance of cure. Every time a player tries to pick on a newbie in Toothless and either verbally or by action disregards our warning response, it tells us our deterrent needs to be stronger--fairness isn't even in the equation. 3) We do have a very low opinion of players who build a model for growth and profit off the subjugating and farming of defenseless players, whether it be protection rackets, looting, straight up suppression attacks, or something else entirely. Luckily, the game itself isn't terribly conducive to such, but there always are those theoretical routes and people who test it out. Unless we have a meaningful connection to the victims (and a NAP generally does not suffice), we don't get involved as per my first point. But that doesn't mean we won't publicly speak out, offer advice and point victims toward other factions that may help, and generally promote by political means a viewpoint that shares our disdain for such tactics and carries predilection to stamping them out. 4) We personally have only seen a very few instances of true bullying in this game. Most of the time--as details flesh out--the issue turns out to be something else entirely, with the greatest offense on any side being small jabs and hot-headed escalation beyond necessity. For people who are likely to get involved in these matters, I highly recommend asking around and waiting at least 2-3 days for expanded intel before starting anything beyond conversations. This goes doubly so if the alleged victim is a member of your own alliance, unless you want to turn a petty squabble into an alliance-wide war and possibly drag your alliance's reputation through the mud. |

lol I just meant top alliances (that's plural) have huge armies. Players respect them and are jealous (wanna be them) because of the power they possess. easy on the block paragraphs! some of us haven't had coffee yet!  |

quite now please this is just a little call out not a discussion yes the bullies go in the end if you've heard or read one of the testements which one i don't know or care!!!!!! its an eye for an eye so it is kind of poetic justice i am personally trying to protect one of my members unfortunately military goes so far diplo units do more damage in many cases and you defend yourself in that case. know unfortunately i don't have the strength. he is bigger than me. i am done debating and im thinking of a thread close request. |
