a whopping 76 accounts changed their name to include one capital letter, just from one igm to a Laugh member. 10 of those namechanged accounts are inside Laugh alliance

I agree, nobody is required to do anything (apparently not even following the rules regarding multi accounting). Unfortunately they are a huge issue in this game and some players are thankfully doing work to clean up the rampant cheating.

Do you feel “required” to protect any of these cheaters? 

Thorfinn, thanks for bullying whoever is controlling those 76 accounts into doubling down. Bazoon, thanks for cataloging the changes.

On a note, not all capitalized there first letters in that batch, some did that already when I attacked and newb ring 2 accounts couple of years ago, and some are still styled on old fashion.

I warmed some of those alliances at the time of my first operation, and there are several list of IDs around (I know E had one since he tracked them before I even noticed them and discussed about that with him, that was years ago).

Glad some of the community are taking that track in their own hands, for the rest I'll let everyone judge by themself.

I supplied the devs with a list of 92 suspect accounts. A great many of them I recognise on Bazoon's list.

I've also pestered a few of them on external chats, and at least one is looking into this (as of today).

There are other ways to identify these accounts. I'm not going to state them publicly- no sense in restarting the discovery process- but once you've spent some time looking they're not hard to spot.

I gave Zolvon a chance to kick all those on the list and then help me with burning all of the towns which he had kept safe and invited those who caused conflicts with others.

He accepted this and he had kicked the accounts. His alliance has razed one or two towns and then stopped. 

I had began razing war machine, the doctor and several other smaller accounts, not within Laugh. During this time, I have recieved a wave of troops from Login5 attacking me on the mine to which Zolvon says that their members can choose to do what they want. 

I had asked them why no further sieges had happened, then he decided to call me childish and he cannot talk to me anymore as I lie. 

I am not sure where the lies come from but as Zolvon refuses to aid in the removal of these multis, alongside his want to consistently insult me and allow his members to attack me,  I have mailed their alliance that they have the chance to leave or be burned starting with Zolvon.

Laughable is coming to an end and I am not harming anyone but their leader unless they choose to defend him.

(Regardless of dev action, I am working on noob ringing any and all of the accounts on the list, I hope others join in even more with this)

There are, town builders, money makers, crafters, hunters, collectors, warmongers, peacemakers, tourney lovers, puzzle solvers, faction fanatics and many combinations of all of these.

I started an alliance 14 years ago as a social experiment. I wanted to see what would happen if you gave a bunch of strangers in an alliance complete freedom to act as they please and the only rule was 

love. Every member is a super user and all alliance powers are turned on for everyone.

You see, I have a theory that if you treat adults like children then they will start acting like children and that is what our societies do when we are constantly passing new laws, at a ever increasing rate. We are effectively treating adults like children more and more and that is reflected in the rapidly decreasing moral state of the world.

All in all we have had an alliance with very few problems, we had one war in the early days that was started out of boredom and curiosity and a couple of members that were trouble makers. Pretty good for 14 years at it.

Now, we get accused of protecting multi accounter's (without evidence), threatened and attacked by the rule loving warmongers who claim the multi accounter's are a threat of some sort to them. I wonder how they are a threat to anyone? We have had some in our alliance with full alliance powers turned on and they never did anything. In fact that is a trait of the multi accounter, they never do anything, just build a few (maybe heaps) of harmless towns.

What is certain is that the greatest threat to anyone in this game is the warmongers. They are the only group who attempt to stop others playing in their own style for their own reasons. The problem they have is that after spending years building massive armies they then have to find targets to relieve their tremendous gold-burn. Maybe they are just bullies and cowards and need to find soft targets instead of other warmongers? I don't know.

I see Laugh as a threat to the game with a leader openly admitting that. 

Admitting to a peace deal, refusing to comit to it and then going on some philosophical rant about the way you treat people is a bit of a strange one. You get whatever comes to you.

Truth is, when we became aware that others had a problem with said accounts and were presented with reasonable evidence of who they were, we at Laugh removed those accounts and have even sieged a few of them.
