Standings between factions are sometimes off, don't make sense based on the lore, or are nonexistent when the lore says they know each other.

This spreadsheet is to collect information about these issues, so that GM JJ can address them and update them if needed. I set the permissions so that any player can edit and add items.

Copy and paste this link into your browser to access the spreadsheet:  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1g0VDow8uYsFyWGQa8G-efOj8w1t5QYKeonh1RvYy8Vo/edit?usp=sharing" rel="nofollow - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1g0VDow8uYsFyWGQa8G-efOj8w1t5QYKeoNh1RvYy8Vo/edit?usp=sharing

(Note: clicking on this link will not work -- you need to copy and paste it into your browser.)

Please include evidence from the lore to back up your views on what is the issue.

Thanks, Freyja. I appreciate you and all of the other loremasters pitching in on this (Dingo got the ball rolling -- thanks, dingo!) You all know the lore inside and out, and we do want all references made between factions in the available lore to be represented in IFS.

One caveat is that not all IFS values that are currently live in the game are lore-based; there are also geographical and other gameplay rationales for them. With this in mind, we will mostly be adding additional IFS standings -- removing or reversing current IFS will be in the minority.

Requesting an IFS removal or reversal (from positive to negative or vice versa)  because "it is not supported by the lore" or "it's not mentioned in the lore" won't be enough to warrant a removal. The only rationale for removing IFS will be if the IFS contradicts direct references in the lore (meaning, it cannot be based on player interpretation; it needs to have direct supporting evidence).

I am sure that there will be some contradictory IFS to remove or reverse; please make sure those requests are vigorously supported with direct evidence to support them.

Again, many thanks for this effort -- it will greatly enhance Faction AI to have the IFS seamlessly blend with the game's lore!

If anyone knows of any more issues with standings between factions, please add them to the sheet. Anyone with the link can edit the sheet. Can also email them to me and I'll add them. JJ would like them ASAP.

Apparently, clicking the link does not work. But you can copy/paste the URL into your browser and it will work.

It workss, just don't click copy link or something like that(it shows something that way on my one when i tip at the link long). But really copy the link like a text. on my phone i have to mark some text for it and after that i have to adjust the marked area.
Or if it really doesn't work, I guess you can send your thoughts to Freyja.

Copy the link and paste it in your search engine.

Do not open in new tab nor click on it.

The URL has something added to it by the forum to stop it from gaining search engine optimisation benefits. It's so the creator of external content on the forum doesn't gain anything positive search engine wise as this is the platform used to propel that content. I do not know if other websites etc do this but just something I found when testing.

Sorry, folks -- I tried to fix the link a number of different ways, but as noted, there seems to be some kind of system designed to auto-break external links. Namely, I noticed that the upper-case "N" in the link:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1g0VDow8uYsFyWGQa8G-efOj8w1t5QYKeo" rel="nofollow - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1g0VDow8uYsFyWGQa8G-efOj8w1t5QYKeo Nh1RvYy8Vo/edit?usp=sharing

. . . gets made into a lower-case "n" when clicked, which is what breaks the link.

I edited the original post to note that people should just copy/paste the link into their broswers.

Team, thank you for your contributions to this sheet. I ask that you please wrap up any final suggestions by the end of day on Sunday, February 9. Next week, I'm hoping to put together an update that will include these changes and additions. Many thanks!
