as you might have read in my other forum posts i have problems with The Ork'Shire Ripper/Deim.

He posted the following words:

I do still believe that this fight/war is going to take a lot of innocent casualities. That is why i tried to avoid it as long as possible. I tried to de-escalate the situation multiple times and tried to solve the issue by offering fair compromises multiple times. Unfortunately diplomacy did not work out - he just put out more aggression.

So i made the decision that instead of leaving the game i am going to "grow a backbone" and step up. After all that is what he wanted.

So i offered him a 1v1 in GC and he accepted:

I believe i agreed to fight you 1 vs 1. not including you and your massive alt.

if i did, that would put me at a huge disadvantage. your 100+ cities vs my 25. no way. no wonder you were so quick to offer the fight.

even Ripper vs thirion would make it 60 towns vs 15. but im willing to do it, just to see if you could beat me, even with that huge advantage.

you said in GC earlier boasting that you had 2 million sentinels. dont lie saying we starting in the same position. you wouldnt agree to fight me, if you didnt have a big army behind you. you ARE a pussy.

whereas i have been fighting VTX solidly for 6+ months and Misty DID kill over 1 million of my troops. just a few weeks ago.

im not in the best shape to take you on 1 vs 1. i think i will withdraw my offer of a duel.

i got nothing to prove to anyone. think i will sit back, relax and just let you stew in your rage.

After you captured one of Mamaquillas cities, boasted about it in GC and siege trained another one to 0 population you want out? How convenient.

That is not how this works.

I told you in the beginning that i see any attacks on Lupia as attacks on myself. I told you there are 2 players in this game i would die for and one was Lupia. I told you it was personal for me. You had all the information you needed to know early on and still you continued.

I offered you multiple fair compromises that would have solved your issue. You did not take any of them. Instead there was more aggression and more bullying.

But lets get back to the issue:

Sorry, but you need to pay for what you did. Otherwise you are going to continue griefing other players and other alliances. Again, SMA was not the first peaceful alliance you have been aggressive against in the last weeks. This needs to stop!

I am neither a griefer nor a tyrant. Thus the following offer:

You abandon The Ork'Shire Ripper. You post an apology to Lupia in this threat. I leave Deim alone. I offer to send you as many resources as you want to build up again. You can capture back Ripper - so you should grow quite fast. After all war accounts are there to get rebuild in case it is needed. At least that is what i get told?

The alternative is that you are going to lose both accounts in a war you cannot win. A war where you are going to appear weak. A long war that is going to end in an inevitable end. A smart warrior knows what fights he can take and what fights he cannot.

you want me to abandon my acct for what. . . attacking two zombie towns. that seems pretty unreasonable to me.

enough people have abandoned their accs in recent weeks. we dont want more active players doing the same. illy needs active players, especially orcs. so few of them to begin with.

i think. . . you should go to your happy place, calm down a bit and come to a decision to resolve this matter in a peaceful way.

IF Lupia comes bk and says. . . wtf happened to my towns, i will of course apologize to her. and offer to give her back her 2 towns that i took. i only wanted them moved after all. the towns themselves mean nothing to me.

but im not abandoning my acct. i will fight to the death. good luck to you in the wars to come.

No, that was just the last straw. You have been aggressive against 4 (!) different peaceful alliances in the last weeks. By that you frustrated 4 important alliance leaders. That included the leaders of 2 important training alliances in Illyriad.

I tried to reason with you. Give you fair solutions to your problems. You ignored them and instead more aggression. I was close to quitting the game because of you. Important community members like Justic/Bolism and Tensmoor already took a break (again) because of you (as far as i know).

I agree that Illyriad needs more active players. That is why me and others spend hours each day training new players.

That is why i offered to help you with resources. To build up again fast. As far as i remember (i sent to a lot of players) before our conflict i already participated in one of your Prestige builds.

Sending out resources and answering questions is the first and the last thing i do each day in the last few years in Illyriad. Sending out assisted sieges, answering mails and questions for new players. Organizing and participating in Prestige builds. Writing down information for new players. Running tournaments.

Unfortunately then a griefer like you comes that doesn't listen to any reason and costs us hours of time to solve the issue. Because something is "inconvenient" for you. Which is really frustrating - teaching new players and alliance leadership already takes a crazy amount of time without those unnecessary problems.

Me and other leaders tried that in the last weeks and it did not work. We gave you a lot of fair compromises and you didn't take any of them.

I was hoping you would say that. I believe in fair deals. You did not deserve the deal i gave you.

Just like in real life a community does not work when someone is running around lashing out and attacking anyone he comes close to. Just because he is bored. In my opinion those players need to be constrained - as they ruin and kill the community.

Over a week ago when the whole situation started a small player (Daphne Vallette) started a siege on Mamaquillas city. Daphne Vallette sent me the following message:

After sending them i wrote her a mail telling her that i sent harmless sieges at her to prove a point. I also decided to Exo a city with some reinforcements there - just in case. At that time i knew i could lose the city and i was (and am) fine with it.

On sunday the city arrived. Yesterday i saw the following incoming attacks:

The day before Ripper/Dem was all about "the situation is over" and he wants me to find a peaceful solution. I have not sent any attacks on Ripper/Deim - but as you can see he did.

Instead of de-escalating the situation he is escalated it by attacking me and also using some "friends" (aka permasats/multies) to help him. Which is against the initial 1v1 rule he agreed to.

In addition to that the following siege attacks:

Looks like Daphne Vallette in fact has siege engines (in contrast to what she (or he) told me).

The point i am trying to make: Lies and breaking agreements. Aggressiveness when he feels like he is stronger and backing down / crying when he thinks he is weaker.

That is not how a warrior behaves. That is how a coward behaves.

Oh and before i get the "stop crying" answer. I am not crying - i am having a lot of fun. I just want to make public how toxic Ripper is.

A recap/summary what The Ork'Shire Ripper/Deim and Daphne Vallette/Baron Vallette (permasats/multies) did over the last few weeks:

He used his "friend" Baron Vallette that was part of a peaceful training alliance KELTS to break the community rules by settling close to a city (which affected the Sov of that city)
The city he settled close to belonged to a member of his alts alliance. By doing this he also went against his alts alliance leader.
When Baron Vallette got asked to move the city Ripper called the well-liked leader lonewolf out in GC for "bad leadership". For a completely reasonable request.
He then captured 2 cities of the legendary and loved leader Lupia/Mamaquilla after getting asked not to (with giving reasons why not to and offering a fair compromise)
By that he broke an agreement i had with his leader Bazoon.
He also lied multiple times and broke multiple agreements he agreed on (e.g. 1v1 agreement)
He pissed of at least 5 (more likely 7-8) important alliance leaders from different alliances in Illyriad. And a lot more players.

i do agree that breaking agreed rules is not cool .... but its an option not a honored one ... but war is not about honor is about survival...

regarding deascalations : even if the one part want to to deascalate a situation and ask for this does not mean that have to do it when the other part has not agree to

Are the Vallettes such a problem, that you feel the need to trash them in the forums?

between them the Vallettes have 10 towns and about 10k troops. they are just newbies. they only been playing for just over 6 months. why you so threatened. and why are you trashing poor Daphne?

I think those newbie's should be commended, for standing up to the Ranked 1st player.

As for your accusation of deal-breaking. . .

the deal you negotiated with Bazoon, was a bad one. and done in bad faith. you demanded that i with-hold any siege on Mamaquillas towns. while we waited for her to log back on and exo the towns from my region. you said, Lupia only logs on once per month to chat. you wanted me to wait a month for her to deign to log back on.

whilst the whole time i was waiting, you were sending troops to reinforce her towns. you even admitted here in the forums that you exo'd a town into my area to protect her city. that's not acting in good faith with Bazoon.

you have been contacting Lupia for weeks. emailing her, messaging her on facebook. sorry to say, she is ducking your calls mate. she isnt interested in you. . . or illy. she's not your girlfriend thirion and she's not coming back.

i have said it before, i will say it again. . . grow up!

and stop trashing poor Daphne. she's really quite cool and i dont want her to quit.

You said you took 2 of Mamaquillas cities. But one of Mamaquillascities got taken by you and one by Daphne. Which in my opinion means that you at least control Daphnes account.

In addition to that the way you and Daphne wrote to me is quite distinctive and similar.

How did i trash them?

I called them out for breaking the Illriad community rules, sieging and siege-training cities and lieing. For everything there is proof (and i showed most of it).

I did not do anything aggressive against Baron and he sieges me? Daphne sent a siege on Mamaquilla and took the city without any aggression on her. I sent some harmless sieges that i told her about in advance and now she is sieging me?

Good you grew that backbone Thirion. I was disappointed when I read the post about you leaving over this.

I wouldn't waste time for too much pushing with words here. To aggressive people it is better to speak their language, and this one doesn't contain many words. Just use your might and stomp the guy, it's that simple. But please, do post updates and reports of the actions. We all want to watch :D
