| Seems a bit unfair that Nelfiser was not on the list and is now miles ahead of everyone |
|
Heya Zolvon, Nelsifer had mentioned to me when we put this out in September that he was going to participate. I had forgotten to put him on the list I put out earlier in the week. My apologies on that end. Duran ------------- "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum" |

I'm competitive, I have been watching carefully for the competition and noticed Nels with 18 sieges on the go. If he had been on the list I would have been sending armies to attack and I would possibly be on the Leader board also. Your apologies are understood and accepted but some other corrections need to be made also.
|
| I also question Beleg's raze...as I never saw anything from him on the siege page??? |
|
I will reach out to Beleg and request the notification for siege landing. ------------- "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum" |

I had been building troops for the winter tourney but the diplomatic situation prevented the plan, so I turned to this tourney fairly locked and loaded On the plus side to challengers I didn't know breaks were points so my camps are pretty soft, get em while they're hot :P
|
| What is your in-game name? I couldn't find a Smopecakes. |
| Ah, forgot to sign, it is Nelsifer |
Sorry Dorcish, but I won't allow your toxic behavior to ruin what has been a very fun event for our current competitors. Your actions have been nothing short of cancerous to a community that in no way deserves it. If you manage to change their view of you by the next one, you're more than welcome to compete then. ------------- "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum" |

In "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" Milan Kundera wrote that the hardest thing in life is not the difficulty but the 'lightness'. The sense of not having a positive purpose that has an effect on the world around a person A person might feel like a small balloon floating up out of a forest. When they bump their way above the last branch there will be no going back. If that person could find a way to break branches around them they might find it to be all they can do to find a sense of realness in their life. Proof that they had an effect on the world and didn't just live, and leave it So get help if you can. I would be very happy if you could In the rich world we can do things. Not a lot of money saved from any kind of job can bring water to someone somewhere else. There's a charity rating organization called GiveWell that did the work on figuring out what the best charities are. That's something you could do

Hey everyone, Please try to ignore the person spamming this post. Wanted to give you all a update on where we are sitting in tournament placing and updates for the next tournament. I plan on doing this twice a year. So if you have any Quality of Life improvements you'd prefer as a competitor, please feel free to comment them here and i'll add them to the AAR on the spreadsheet and do my best with balancing the next tournament to reflect as many of the updates as possible. Like all things, not all of the things will make it. But will do my best to implement the desired changes. As far as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placing so far, as long with some honorable mentions, we have the following: 1st: Nelsifer Muledwun (20 razes, 60 points) 2nd: Avi (15 razes, 4 siege breaks, 49 points) 3rd: Zolvon (5 razes, 7 siege breaks, 22 points) HM: Beleg Cuthalion (5 razes, 15 points) As always the scorecard can be found at the following link, with an added AAR page with QoL improvement ideas for the next tournament. Keep up the good work compeitiors! 18 days left! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14i847nXIcCs9vcoxN2rFaQfdDQQOIjeQ6bdot4Ie3pQ/edit#gid=0" rel="nofollow - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14i847nXIcCs9vcoxN2rFaQfdDQQOIjeQ6bdot4Ie3pQ/edit#gid=0

Ahh, as someone who rarely jumps on GC or the forums it would appear I missed out on this. I will be game for the next tournament if the style and setup are similar or the same. ------------- "Our generation has had no Great Depression, no Great War. Our war is spiritual. Our depression is our lives." |
Thanks for showing interest, I'm going to try and keep it as close to style and setup as possible with some balancing changes. Will be sure to put it out to all of the alliances as well. ------------- "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum" |

Currently, here are our placings: 1st Place: Avi (30 razes, 5 siege breaks) 95 Points 2nd Place: Nelsifer Muledwun (30 razes) 90 Points 3rd Place: Beleg Cuthalion (14 razes) 42 Points 4th Place: lone wolf (13 razes) 39 points 5th Place: Zolvon (9 razes, 10 siege breaks) 37 points 6th Place: Snagglepuss (3 razes) 9 points 7th Place: Yuman (1 raze) 3 points Very well done so far, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place are all very competitive right now between our competitors and I'm very thankful that the spirit of competition is up. Below is the scorecard Link. Can't wait to see how it all shakes out in the closing days of the inaugural tournament. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14i847nXIcCs9vcoxN2rFaQfdDQQOIjeQ6bdot4Ie3pQ/edit#gid=0" rel="nofollow - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14i847nXIcCs9vcoxN2rFaQfdDQQOIjeQ6bdot4Ie3pQ/edit#gid=0 ------------- "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum" |
| go go lonewolf |
| idea for next one duran: combo bonus. when you ring and relocate a player, if you are the next one to re-raze and re-relocate that player, your raze gets +1 bonus points per consecutive combo raze on that specific player, so starting 3 then 4, 5, etc. points but only if you keep that combo alive, nobody else razes that player between your sieges, and your siege on that player never gets broken |
Hey Bazoon, I love this idea, I do think we would have to probably cap that combo at some point for balancing, but capping it at 5 does sound reasonable. ------------- "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum" |
| leaving it uncapped gives more urgency and reason to siege break rather than just raze alone. also to stay aware of what other players are doing |
|
The Tournament has concluded. I want to congratulate all the competitors for a job well done, and a race all the way to the finish. Extremely great work.
