A conversation popped up in GC this evening, has anyone reached 1 Trillion Gold in an account at once? and how many trillions of Gold has been traded in the History of Illy. |

I do not think that it is possible. I make ~1b gold per week at the moment with 110 cities running on 100% taxes. I think at most you can make maybe ~2b gold per week (with 2 maxed accounts - and still requires a lot of work). Thus as a rough estimate getting to 1 trillion gold would be 500 weeks or ~10 years. But there is not really a point in my opinion - as it is capital you are not really using. The most efficient way is to invest the gold as soon as possible (e.g. Buy Prestige to grow faster). Saving up some billions before producing a lot of troops makes sense - but you would have a hard time consuming/spending 1 trillion gold.
